If you like salsa with a kick this is the place. Beef fajita plate was a good portion for lunch. The tacos are good. The whole menu is at the top. Other than the enchiladas I didn't care for those. But te salsa I buy and take back to Texas with me every time I go.

Hidden on a side street but well worth looking for. The food is very good, flavorful and authentic. Order at the counter and find a table. The portions are generous and reasonably priced. The tostada compuesta plate with red chili, green chili and beans is great. Their chile rellenos are well done. Save room for dessert, they have the best... More

This restaurtant offers quick, personal service. Food is great, try the caldo de rez, small or large bowl, either size sure to fill you up. Also have best flauta plate in town, all servings are generous.

By referral from our hotel front desk, we visited Los Compos in blind trust. Boy, did that work out well! Though the parking is just adequate for the seating capacity, we got there just as a number of guests were leaving...so parking AND seating were no issue. The menu selection was much different than what we are accustomed to in... More

We had the Estrella tacos which were recommended. I felt they were very bland . More of a takeout place than a eat in I observed. You order at the counter and then take away or find a table in the back to eat. Serve yourself tea or coffee, silverware, etc. I had to take tacos back as they forgot... More

A local at the Memorial Medical Center recommended this particular Los Compas at this location. I tried the combination plate and my wife tried the taco plate. We were both disappointed as the food was mediocre at best. We often eat at Si Senor's which is nearly directly across Lohman avenue. There was no comparison. When we drove up we... More

This restaurant has three locations in Las Cruces, and we've been only to the Commerce Drive location, on several occasions. There are many Mexican restaurants in this area, but most are able to distinguish themselves in one way or another, and we found this one to be this way. We like going here because it is quiet and has a... More
