This was our favorite place for breakfast. Food was excellent and the staff friendly. The salsa was delicious. A must go to restaurant in Las Cruces.

Thursday January 19-2017 When we left the Convention Center she wanted to go to Target which we did. When we left Target she said that she was hungry and actually had a destination in mind. La Nueva Casita Cafe. I looked at her and said, I thought you didn't want Mexican? She replied that one of her classmates had recommended... More

Kind of disappointed based on the reviews and my extensive experience with all types of Mexican cuisine. Salsa had a slightly weird taste and the tacos and burrito were pretty uninspired. Service was great and the location and space is cool but I would definitely check out somewhere else first.

While on a road trip from Texas to California we read about La Nueva Casita Café on trip advisor and decided to try it. This was a wonderful experience. It is a neighborhood café with a lot of locals. The food was excellent and service was quick and friendly. spThe chips and salsa were excellent but the salsa was spicy... More

This is a terrific little place in a unique area. The street tacos are delicious. My son had the enchiladas with the red chile sauce. Beware: These aren't for the light hearted with he heat. New Mexico red and green chiles are normally very spicy. The beans were not out of a can. Everything was fresh. The guacamole was great... More

Looks like a dive but those are the places to get the most authentic, best tasting food. The salsa was spicy and good. I had the chef special Estrella Tacos which were good but made different from the menu because I'm told the chef was new, but they were fantastic anyway. I'd happily go here again.

The food was great - the "real deal" Mexican cuisine! Prices were very reasonable and lots of menu selections to choose from.

I have visited thousands of restaurants and eating places all over the world. I always look for local places and try to stay away from the chains and stereo typed places which make you feel claustrophobic and uneasy. While in Las Cruces for the New Year weekend we visited this place for a brunch on the 1st of January ,... More
