From the chips and salsa to the entrees to the chocolate flan everything was delicious and exceeded our expectations. Our son was also thrilled because they serve breakast all day and he was able to get his favorite pancakes - a great surprise for a kid who doesn't love mexican food. We all left super full and satisfied. If you... More

On a longer road trip and needing a lunch break while passing through Las Cruces, we check out reviews here and I consulted a NM-based travel-writer friend who also recommended it. Incredibly authentic Mexican fare with very friendly service. (Thanks, Luís!) House tacos (Tacos Estrellas) were simply but deliciously presented. And the chilis rellenos were the best I've had. (And... More

We tried this place based on the reviews here on Trip Advisor. I'm glad we did. The place is located in Old Las Cruces and is spotless. The menu is extensive. The salsa and chips arrived and beware the salsa is NOT for wimps. I ordered a taco salad, my wife the chicken flautas. She enjoyed them and the frijoles... More

We were just passing through Las Cruces and wanted something for lunch. We found La Casita Cafe online and saw that it had good reviews so we thought we would give it a try. We were not disappointed! It is off the beaten path and there was a lot of road construction so it was a bit difficult to get... More

Stopped by for lunch on a busy Saturday. My husband had flautas, nice and crispy with well-seasoned meat. I had a taco salad with fajita chicken. Excellent retried beans, corn tortillas, and red chile sauce. Menudo is offered on weekends. Taco chips were a little too greasy for my taste. Yogi, our server, was terrific. So friendly and helpful. If... More

Great restaurant! We were a little pushed for time and Yogi, our server, made special efforts to get our order completed, served, and bill taken care of in 35 minutes! We had the street taco dinner and it was absolutely excellent! We couldn't ask for better service or food!

Off the beaten path, this is one of those honest to goodness local restaurants that offer good food for a fair price. The Mexican cuisine is common to just about every similar restaurant in the surrounding area with one important difference: it is fresh, fast and fairly priced. The building is simple and reminds me of others I have seen... More

How in the world this place has the #1 rating in town is a mystery to me. Sure it's cute with nice folks but the food was pretty marginal. First you get a little bucket with chips and hot sauce too hot to eat. Then they inform you that no alcohol is served there. My wife had the taco plate... More
