Looking for a great family place to have authentic Mexican food then this is the place. Their chicken tacos are very tasty and one of my favorites. Generous portions, fantastic retried beans. The staff is courteous and friendly.

The Smiling Staff makes La Casita a must. But when you get to enjoy the Beef Fajita Tacos with the amazing char on the onions and beef it's just amazing. Their daily homemade salsa should be sold and distributed across the U.S. We purchase a large cup to go during every visit!

Not on the common path in Cruces which is why it probably took me over a year to find this unique and delicious food experience. The atmosphere is heart warming, the waitresses make you feel at home and the dining is excellent. Good New Mexico food that will compel you to return again and again. Prices were very reasonable and... More

I'm local. Years ago, Nueva Casita was recommended to me by a Las Cruces Fire Department Lt. and sixth generation Mexican American. Great food, terrific service, and not expensive. You feel like you're being served by family.

Hadn't been here in a couple years... Then I had the chance to sample some food at the Taste of Las Cruces event.. The tacos were awesome! Saw the ad in American Classifieds and went for dinner. The food was great and service was awesome! We will definitely be back... SOON!

Stopped today on long road trip. Fast service and very friendly. The food was amazing. The salsa and the green sauce was a bit more spicey then we are use to but it was really really good!

FIRST..it's titled here as La Casita Cafe, on the building as of July 22, 2016 it is called La Nueva Casita Cafe. Same address, same place. NEXT...the FOOD is fantastic....the green is HOT, perfect. The plates are HOT...exactly as they should be. And I know a refried bean....is a bean...is a bean. But theirs are the best we have had...unless... More

We stopped here for lunch about 3pm on our way to Alamogordo. We were immediately seated (family of 6). Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We never had empty glasses and were always checked on during our meal. At the time we stopped, the restaurant had 3 other tables that were being attended to as well. Their food was... More

We stopped in on our way through town and could not be more happy. The food was delicious with dishes we have never had, the service (thank you, Yogi) was so friendly they make you feel like family. This is a must do on our next trip through Las Cruces.

I grew up in Las Cruces, New Mexico so the authenticity of Mexican native to this area is very important to me. We traveled here and I cherish all of the flavors in the meal. Fresh, bold flavors, but not too hot. This is a go to for all visits to this wonderful town.
