Visited Habanero's during a visit to Las Cruces and was delighted with the hometown feel and the delicious Mexican food. My husband had a massive chimichanga and I enjoyed the Mahi Tacos. All in all, great local spot!!

There are many good Mexican/New Mexican restaurants in Las Cruces, but Habanero's takes food preparation and taste to another level. My choice was the chicken pipian enchiladas. The salsa is made from crushed pumpkin seeds and is mildly spiced. At first bite, my taste buds orbited the planet! The owner cooked and served the food himself - he obviously takes... More

A dear friend took us here several weeks ago. Since then, we have gone back three times for lunch. It's in the middle of the city, easy access and ample parking. The interior is nothing fancy, but has a friendly, warm ambiance. The grande menu is listed on a large board, you order at the cashier's and the meal is... More

We went here for lunch several times while working in las cruces - loved it! Lots to choose from, quick friendly service, note - its a counter-order type restaurant, no waiters etc.. But for a good lunch you can't go wrong

Over priced. Good food. When my son said he didn't want guacamole on his tacos, the owner actually argued with him. I think it's a tourist place, never seen locals there

I really like the food here. It moved to its new location a couple years ago. It is a bit more comfortable for seating.

We stop for lunch at Habanero's frequently. It is a counter order, they deliver type restaurant. Their menu is extensive, covering almost one entire wall. I generally have the taco plate which comes with either a serving of chips & salsa or their "welcome" soup in addition to rice and beans. Nicely prepared. Small restaurant but tables have been generally... More

Food was so good. I tired Pipian Chicken Enchiladas, pumpkin flavored sauce - my first time to eat this dish and it was very good, husband had the beef enchiladas which was made with sliced beef not hamburger meat, very filling and very very good, our grandson had shrimp tacos and loved them. Beer and Wine are served here. You... More

This was my first time in Las Cruces and I knew that I had to try a New Mexican green chili cheeseburger. I was not disappointed. The burger was huge, freshly made and loaded with green chilis. Service was excellent and prices were good. Highly recommended.

Only get to go when passing thru which had been several years. We had not been since they moved to the new location which is larger and nicer. The food is still as good and plentiful as before. Had the mole enchiladas which were so full of chicken I took one home for supper the next day, all for under... More
