This was a favorite stop for pizza when we lived in Las Cruces. We've been searching for similar places in the places we've lived since, but none compare! Their pizza and bread match no other, and we ALWAYS make a stop there when we visit Las Cruces!!

I have only visited the restaurant downtown and I love it. The pizza is delicious and creative. My only complaint was that the restaurant was drafty and chilly in December. Try and the lemon pizza, you’ll be amazed how good it is, no kidding ‼️

We stopped here for a midweek dinner. We ordered Greek Pizza and a bottle of Chianti. Artesian bread and olive oil are served promptly. Sarah, our server, was personable and professional. The pizza has a crisp crust and very good flavor. This would be the top restaurant of this trip easily !!

Been coming here since it opened years ago. Always have had a great meal here. The owners are exceptional! Awesome food! Unique for the area as well.

We've been stopping here on trips out of El Paso for several years, and it just gets better! Not least because the related bakery continues to turn out simply wonderful bread. It's not a fancy setting but pleasant, and the food is reliably good...AND where else in the border area can you get a grilled asparagus and proscuitto panino sandwich? The side salad was refreshing and the dressing worth taking home. The wait staff can advise about the wines on the drinks list (all reasonably priced) with confidence. We'll be back!!!

I went with the veggie Calzone at this place because I thought I'd play it safe and watched my co workers food come out and immediately regretted not ordering pizzas pastas and other delicious salads they had. Needless to say my eyes were just bigger than my belly. My calzone was possibly the best I've ever had. The cheese seem to have come from an ever flowing mountain because I swear it just never broke away. It was a delicious meal and I will be back for more.

My wife and I were part of a group of eight that went for pizza after a local arts event in Las Cruces one October evening. The relatively small, very unpretentious restaurant is dominated by a large wood-fired oven and we were served up a number of extremely tasty pizzas, one of the best pizza experiences I've had. Several members of our party were regular patrons of Zeffiro's Pizzeria Napoletano and vouched for the consistency with which they served their offerings. The pizza baker I was watching toss and stretch the pizzas certainly knew what he was doing. The pizzas were a perfect way to end the evening. Highly recommended!

First time here and we will be back for sure! The four of us had calzone, pasta, and the strawberry/spinach salad - all were excellent. My husband is a pasta connoisseur and he pronounced his pasta dish 'outstanding'! High praise indeed. It is only open from 5-8(?) and the tables fill up quickly - come early so you're not disappointed. Next time we'll try the pizza :)

Two of us stopped here for lunch and split a 13” pizza. We were so happy with the thin crust! And it’s cooked in a wood-fired oven, which imparts a nice taste. They serve wine & beer. The service was good. Highly recommend if you like thin crust. The side salads are pretty big.

Should have taken a pic, the pizza was that unappealing. We expected a more flavorful experience from a NY pizzeria. Oh well, better experience with Dominos....

On a road trip back from California to Texas we stopped at Zeffiro's Pizzeria Napoletana and we are glad we did. Our lovely waitress Lauren suggested the Chicken Parm and my husband and son both enjoyed the dish. I had the Mediterranean Pizza with mozzarella, artichokes, calamata olives and feta - it was delicious and the personal size is quite generous. Two thumbs up.

It was once called The Popular department store and is just across Water Street from the electric company in downtown Las Cruces. Several years ago it became popular for its fire baked Neapolitan style pizza and fresh crusty European breads, even special breads for Easter and Christmas time. Zeffiro has second restaurant near New Mexico State University on University Avenue with the same high quality food and service. Just ask if you need to finish in time for theater. They give a discount for customers who have ticket stubs from the Black Box Theater just a few blocks away.

Lunch started with delicious crusty bread and garlic butter. From the first bite of the artisan bread we knew we were in for a treat! We had a side salad with a fantastic raspberry walnut dressing and a small Margherita pizza. Wait-staff was friendly and efficient. The green mango tea was a surprising option that tasted great! Can't say enough good things about Zeffiro's!

Five of us had a nice lunch in less than an hour here. The food was fresh and flavorful. Pasta was obviously freshly made and had an amazing flavor and texture. Their bread was toooo good, so a few of us bought loaves to go! I had the Caprese salad and spaghetti with meatballs. This is Neapolitan style, so lots of tomato and basil, just as I like it. Other ladies in the group raved about the chicken in whatever pasta dishes they ordered. Don't let the sparse decor dissuade you. It's all about the food!
