Service was great but food was just ok. We were a large group of 17 people and our waitress kept up with refills, checking on us, and very courteous. Unfortunately since we were a large group, we were given a menu with limited options. Management...did make exceptions for those that had dietary restrictions so that was nice of them. I ordered the green chili enchiladas. They were ok. The enchiladas were luke warm, pretty dry, and had little taste to them. They were smothered in green chili but like I said, very little taste to them. They came with a side of pinto beans which were also pretty bland. Food was edible and service was great. Unfortunately not enough to have me go back.More

The food was excellent, but the restaurant was sooooo noisy. We ate quickly and left. Inside, the noise level was high from people talking. The outside tables had loud music.

My husband and I went for dinner last night and sat on the back patio. We enjoyed are food and drinks, both very good. The service was very good too. The only downside was the entertainment. There was a man playing the guitar and he...was very good. The problem was he had it turned up very loud and we could not carry on a conversation because it was so loud. Next time we will sit on front patio where there is no entertainment.More

Delicious dinner with amazing service and love music on the back patio. We enjoyed several items from the tapas menu (pescado tacos, grilled cauliflower, Mis Tres Amores, Red Chile Poutine) that were all very tasty. Great service and the live music was top shelf!

Not many places were open for dinner on New Years Day, so we were happy to see the lights on at Salud. What a find! Our waiter Jausim was very informative about the wine list and menu. They were out of the wine we ordered,...so he recommended an alternative that was excellent and even less expensive. My husband ordered prime rib (the evening’s special) and I ordered one of the house specialties, artichoke chicken. Both were accompanied by little roasted potatoes and broccolini that were seasoned perfectly. Everything was absolutely fantastic. We don’t usually order dessert, but we managed to find room to split a piece of Bailey’s cheesecake. Oh my goodness! It was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. If you’re in the Las Cruces area, Salud is worth the visit.More

While visiting my sister in El Paso, Texas, we drove an hour to this restaurant at her suggestion. What a treat! We had the most delicious food of blueberry salad, burgers, yummy, crisp fries, duck tacos and drinks. The food was fresh, cooked perfectly and...delivered by a delightful young server, sadly we forgot his name. After our meal, we took our receipts to their gift shop next door and got 10% off our purchases.More

Have enjoyed this place before but food quality is terrible now. Mac and cheese was boiled pasta in watery liquid with no cheese, artichokes were chopped in small pieces and fried, very greasy, limp lettuce on old bread on sandwiches, atmosphere was terrible. Service was good...however.More

Delicious food, plenty of vegetarian options, which are hard to find in Las Cruces! Great staff! Outdoor seating with plenty of shade and misters! I had the mushroom tacos and Salud! house salad and my husband had duck tacos with the house salad. Delicious! They...serve wine and beer.More

My husband and I were eagerly looking forward to visiting Salud! when they re-opened after the COVID closure. We had a reservation, and because of "social distancing" were put in a room with one other couple, at a table that would normally seat 8 people....Very uncomfortable and certainly not warm and inviting. It was uncomfortably cold, so we asked if we could move to the patio. That was much better ambiance, and more comfortable. The drinks were served in plastic (compostable) cups - ugh! That just doesn't work for a nice glass of wine! The silverware was plastic as well. They had prime rib on special that night, so we decided to order it, though we weren't sure how we were going to cut it with a plastic knife! The prime rib came out tepid - very unappetizing, so we sent it back. The next iteration came out just as cool, but was a better cut. The broccolini they served with it was ice cold, however, the roasted potatoes were warm. They offered to let us order something else, but by that time, we just decided to suck it up and eat it. No explanation as to why they were unable to provide a hot meal! The only good thing about the evening was the service. Leo was excellent and really tried to please, but with all the plastic ware and cold food, it left much to be desired.More

We went to Salud's in the late afternoon to try the tapas menu -- and we are glad we did. We had prime rib tacos, duck tacos, calamari, and the brie tapas. Each was excellent. The prime rib had a wasabi sauce which gave them...a delicious zing. The duck tacos were basted in tasty barbeque sauce. The calamari were covered in a very light crust and the brie wontons with dried cranberries and nuts were also wonderful. And to make it all perfect there is a very nice wine list with wine for every taste and budget. Our wait staff was very knowledgeable about the food and wine both. Service was outstanding! Last, check out their bread -- multicolored served with rosemary butter -- yummy!More

We recently went to Salud (again) with some friends for dinner. Beginning with the phone reservation, it was clear that staff was trained and resonated to customer service! Once at the restaurant, we had to wait for a very few minutes while they cleared and...set up the table which we had requested. It was really no inconvenience however, again, their concerns for our inconvenience was clear. The server checked frequently with us after the meals were served and the manager did as well, making sure that he knew which reservation we were. One of our friends found the chicken he ordered rather too dry for his taste and asked that it be sent back to the kitchen. It was done immediately and delivered promptly to the table much more palatable to him. Again, the manager appeared checkimg on his satisfaction which was perfectly accommodated. The food for the rest of us was excellent and we will certainly return to this comfortable and casual cuisine and setting.More

If you are looking for a place with a variety of menu items, Salud is the place. They have Mexican and traditional dishes plus some unique menu offerings such as the duck tacos. There is a separate tapas selection if you are not super hungry...or just want to share plates. Certainly, Salud has the best wine selection in the city and it's getting better all the time. The service is excellent, not fast, but the short wait is worth it.More
