The food is excellent. Small but elegant place. It is on the south/east side of town in an older hotel but the food is incredible and the staff is quick to please. From the salad through dessert you will not be disappointed. Sometimes reservations are necessary but they have been gracious enough to accommodate us when they have been booked.

neat little place. Nice people. Steaks are good, but leave the seafood to someplace closer to the sea. Lobster not good at all.

This is the best kept secret in Hobbs. It is located in a little hotel on the outskirts of town. When you approach the restaurant there is a big wooden door. Once inside it is like walking into a Speakeasy. Dark, intimate and limited number of tables. The ribeye is delish! Nice selection of wines.

We love to go here, we always make a reservation just in case they are super busy. We have never had a bad meal here! I love that Wednesday nights are 1/2 off a bottle of Wine. The Filet Mignon is so yummy! As is the Beef Alfredo....two of my favorites on one dish, Steak & Alfredo! Only open for... More

I've been working out here for 3 years now and tried just about every place in Hobbs for a good steak. Saxony has never done me wrong. Plus the Asparagus is awesome too. For a flavorful steak dinner, cooked perfectly every time Saxony is the only place in town, you can't go wrong!

We initially struggled to find the Saxony, as it is inside an inn, and on a street which shifts from south to west to east to north, re-starting the numbering every time. But worth the search. The food was good (ribeye and butterflied shrimp) and there is a nice wine list (half price on Wednesdays). My companion said that he'd... More

We took some clients and team members out to dinner at this location. You can say that most everything on the menu was purchased. All food was very tasty and the steaks were great but it's not a great spot for large parties.

We've lived just across the stateline in Seminole for almost 12 years, and just recently heard about this place. Great restaurant for a special occasion. The steaks were excellent, as were all the sides - and the server was attentive and professional. Our guests also enjoyed their meals. We will definitely be back.

This is the best steak house in Lea County. Steaks are always made perfect, have also had the salmon and that was also perfect. The is the Perfect place for a date night. Don't let the location fool you.

I have eaten at the Saxony a few times and the experience has been good every time. Their steaks are descent and probably one of the best you can get in town. The menu selections are good but still a bit limiting. The drink selection is good both beer and wine but at times are not available. The service is... More
