When we lived in Arizona - this was a great place to stay. The rooms have a lot of the old bathroom fixtures that we had in our home when I was growing up. The beds are comfortable and the hotel staff are very nice! Leroy is the front desk attendant and loves to talk. He is very friendly and... More

I live in this town and if you are looking for great food with a nice atmosphere you have come to the right place. They make many Mexican & American plates that are all very good to eat. I have never left here disappointed. The food is very good. The service is good and the peaceful environment makes for a... More

My wife and I ate here because we wanted to visit this historic location but the kitchen killed whatever interest we had in the place. My wife ordered a medium well steak and it arrived medium rare. I ordered medium rare and my prime rib was medium well. The waitress didn't seem to care and we ended up sending both... More

The El Rancho hotel lobby was an interesting look at bygone times....the restaurant itself was a less pleasing room. The food was good as well as the staff.

Roadtrip from Patrick AFB to Travis AFB, mostly I40 and nostalgic route 66! We are broadcasting from Gallup, NM on Route 66! This is a great place. You need to stop in for a spell. Memories are flooding back of a time when life was simpler and glamorous. When everyone knew your name. The lobby has this awesome "Gone with... More

As you walk up to the front you are taken back in a time before the interstate came through. Many famous people stayed here. From Ronald Reagan to Lucy. If you don't stay here at least visit, and be sure to sit out on the 2nd level front porch.

This was almost the only place open after 9 on a Friday night. After a long day of driving, I wanted a sit down meal and a cold beer. My wife said that the Taco Salad was the best she had ever had. The people are friendly and the service was pretty good. The prices were reasonable as well.

After a long day driving of our road trip, we ended up here for a beer and some nachos with guacamole. Beautiful building, and as soon as we walked into the restaurant it felt as if we were in Mexico. Great ambiance, nice background music and a good menu with not too many options but enough to suit everyone's taste.... More

My husband and I stopped in for a bite mid-afternoon so the restaurant not very busy. We ordered a couple local beers while looking over the menu. My husband had a burger -- was satisfied. I ordered a Taco salad which was ok but nothing special. We're from the Midwest so I had been hoping for a good old Southwestern... More
