I stopped in Gallup to see the Hotel El Rancho up close. But, since we were there, my wife and I decided to grab lunch. We were just going to go into the hotel, but we did a quick search to see what else the town had to offer. We picked Jerry's and it was probably the tastiest meal we... More

I'm going to sum this place up in a nutshell. My wife has NEVER, EVER eaten Mexican food 2 nights in a row until I brought her to Jerry's. NUFF SAID.

I stopped here while passing by Gallup. True local cafe serving solid Mexican-American food. I had Jerry's Special. The claim its served the same since 1976. It is a burger, flattened with chile sauce on top, refried beans and rice. You won't be disappointed if your hungry. Service was excellent.

Service was excellent and so was breakfast. The place is memorable in a very good way. My husband had the daily special and I the veggie omelette. I like that you can order smaller portions off the menu.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch while passing through Gallup. It is a small cafe with New Mexican and American food. Good chile and sopapillas. The food was reasonably priced, tasty and served quick. We really enjoyed our meals. Would definitely recommend. One note, parking is limited as it is just street parking. Around the corner there is a... More

I actually have no idea what the food is like, although judging by the crowd and reviews I'd read, it must be very good. We had made our travel plans to have dinner at Jerry's Cafe after checking into the Hampton Inn when traveling through Gallup, but it was Friday night, and Jerry's Cafe was so packed there was no... It was our first time there and we both had a good meal. Chips and salsa had some kick to it. Plenty of food for the price.

Jerry's is a very authentic local spot to grab a bite to eat. The food is typical New Mexican with tortillas, sopapillas, and red and green chiles. The décor is very simple, but the food more than makes up for the atmosphere. Jerry's is definitely a place that the locals frequent, so you know that it must be good.
