I am on a Paleo nutrition plan and allergic to all grains on variously levels of sensitivity. I can always find something good to eat at Cracker Barrel. My favorite is their smoked bacon and fried apples.

First off let me state that I am not a fan of Cracker Barrel. I have eaten about 14 times in them and have had only 2 meals properly prepared. One in Topeka KS, the other in Bardstown KY. This one had good reviews, so seemed like a good bet. We ordered the chopped steak with cheese & mushrooms and... More

We spent the night in Gallup NM, and right next door to the motel was Cracker Barrel, much to our delight. Always a great place to eat. I had Prime Rib French Dip Sandwich with fries and coleslaw, while husband chose breakfast. Always friendly people at Cracker Barrel, they cater to travelers, as well as their regular customer. Even bought... More

Very good, staff is fast and friendly, beautifully merchandised. Food is fast and the spend is reasonable.

We stopped in for a lite dinner, after driving 8 1/2 hours and before going to our hotel for the night. Disappointed that they only had one kind of soup and that the new pumpkin muffins were all gone for the day, (our fault for stopping so late) but the coffee was hot, the ice tea was sweet and the... Wait staff friendly and quick. Have never had a bad experience at this chain of restaurants. New prime rib French dip sandwich was plentiful enough that my husband and I shared it.

I've never had a bad meal at Cracker Barrel before but this made up for that! I came on fish fry Friday but decide to go with the chicken and dumplings with the hash brown casserole and corn. Man the dumplings reminded me of rubbery cardboard the chicken had a nasty smell too it and the hash brown casserole was... More

Very clean and friendly, good food and although for sale. We asked for a guilt place to set and they went out of their way to set us in a corner that was fairly guide. We'll pleased with them .

Ate here while stopping over for the night. Not a great chain and the food is so so. Service was decent. Just an average meal at an average place. Loud and noisy....

Folks seem to either love or hate Cracker Barrel. I love them and have for years. I discovered as an adult that I had eaten at the very first one the year it opened. I USUALLY do not care for cookie cutter chains. But I make an exception for Cracker Barrel. I like knowing any time I see that yellow... More
