Came here on a recommendation from the hotel front desk (Hampton Inn Gallup West). Drove up to a restaurant sandwiched between an adult bookstore and a Chinese massage parlor with practically no parking. We decided to stay and waited for someone to pull out leaving a place to park. Best decision of the week! The food was perfect -- definitely... More

Resturant is a couple of miles down from the red roof inn where I stayed. Very nice place, good food and server was very friendly able to help us with the menu.

My family is originally from Gallup and we always choose to eat here when we are all together for Christmas or visits. The Chico steak with green chile and cheese is great. Fun environment in the bar. Great place to get new Mexican cuisine with decent prices.

Nice family type dinner on route 66. Enjoyed combo fajitas and a beef stew with a dinner roll. Sheldon was a great server who made us very comfortable even though it was after 7 pn Would definitely recommend this dinner for some good new Mexican food.

Cannot say enough nice things. Sheldon was a wonderful server, and the whole staff was super friendly. The food is all delicious, scratch-made down to the tortillas. I just wished we lived closer!

Close to the Hampton Inn West and recommended by the night staff for a late dinner. The food was excellent and the service was attentive. Clearly, this is a local's favorite and everyone knew each other in the dining room. This was well seasoned, flavorful New Mexico cuisine well beyond our expectations.

The food was good. I had the chicken tacos & the chicken had little flavor. A bland dish. It came with some pretty awesome green chili. The service was awesome. Seems to be a very popular place, a lot of people were there. Locals parading through trying to sell you items. They weren't pushy & left when we declined. Just... More

Upon recommendation by the guest services at the Hampton Inn, we ventured a mile down the road to Virgie's. This was a wonderful example of southwestern hospitality. Homey atmosphere, with lots of locals eating there. This was our first experience at being questioned red chili or green chili or Christmas--meaning both chilies on the food. Hubby had a great chili... More

The staff was very nice and the place appeared to be clean. Definitely a good place for families with small children. I had a strawberry margarita which was very good. The food is good, but we found it just average at best. The beans were dry and the chicken in my enchilada was bland. The sauces were OK, but more... More

Angie's has amazing food, outstanding service and just a friendly lunch experience. I have eaten there several times and you just cannot go wrong in picking an entree item.
