We stopped because we were looking for classic American diners on route 66. Found it! Lots of good food at a very small price. $25 feed two people. Service was really good too.

Unfortunately the AC was on the blitz but fortunately Gallup is usually cool-ish in the shade so we sat outside. We both ordered the Navajo Taco which I had ordered and enjoyed on the visit a couple of years ago. It was OK but the fry bread was tougher this time and if we come back I'll order it without... I was recently traveling west on I-40, heading to Phoenix, and decided to stop for breakfast in Gallup, NM. Passing on the familiar chain restaurant and venturing about a mile from the exit I stumbled on Aurelia's Diner, which specializes in Mexican food. What a pleasant surprise! My meal was prededed by free salas, guacomole and chips, and ended with... More

We went here because of all the good reviews here. We sort of doubt this. Greet and connect was more or less non existent. I had a beef burrito which was quite good. Rice and beans just OK. The chicken in my wife's quesadilla was really dry and the fries were not for human consumption. Normally fries are crispy on... More

The food is delicious. I especially love the breakfast burrito and the enchiladas. Everyone who works here is very friendly and helpful. The meal starts with complimentary chips, salsa and guac and ends with complimentary pudding. My favorite spot for brunch/lunch!

We were so lucky to discover this little gem. Snowing/sleeting/raining outside, but it was cozy and comfortable inside. Lots of memorabilia around, attentive server and delicious food. Large, large menu.

This is a cute Route 66 diner complete with neon and everything! It's run by a small family and if you're lucky their little boy will be at your service! He's about 7 and is as cute as a bug and worked really hard while we were there, cleaning and making sure we had everything we needed! The food is... More

Small but lots of Route 66 atmosphere with unexpectedly above average food and good service. I had six tacos, three chicken and three beef for $8.99 (an extra dollar when mixing). They were delicious and made with fresh meats. There is a sign outside, I believe for to go orders, where for the same price they throw in a drink.... More

My husband and I had dinner enjoying taquitos both chicken and beef - wonderful. The chicken was good, not stringy like other places. Very pleasantly surprised! The chips, guacamole, and salsa were above average. I just returned from a Mexico vacation and I missed 'great' guacamole - so again I was very pleased. I would recommend trying Aurelia's.
