Found this place on trip advisor. We wanted lunch and a place to watch golf on tv. We’re not disappointed. Really enjoyed getting to see all the sports memorabilia. Took several photos to send onto friends. The place should have a small brochure about its...history. A great stop in Gallup.More

Absolutely The Best In Gallup. We had a pizza and some wings. Excellent, excellent! Our server was fantastic. When we raved about the pizza, sho actually brought the cook out so we could tell him personally. We can't wait to stop again on our annual...drive round trip from upstate New York to Las Vegas. It is definitely a stop we are looking forward to.More

We were so surprised when we go here & it was so big & new looking on the inside. We shared chicken fajitas which were more than enough for 2 people. The main reason we had to give a 3 is because we were there...for an hour & half for fajitas! And they charged for tea refills (we didn't know this until we got the bill). We live in Texas & it is unheard of to pay for a refill of tea, maybe it's normal in NM?More

All the sports memorabilia was interesting. The wings were delicious and meaty. Staff were very attentive and continually checked on us. Our waitress explained the sauces and made sure they were to our liking. The bartender made a wine recommendation which was spot on.

We rolled into town, on our way to Santa Fe from Washington State, and discovered Sammy's. Wow, what a great space. The sports and entertainment memorabilia was impressive. Sammy stopped by the table and said hello, which was very nice and professional. The food was...really good and it came out quick. This is one of the most impressive sports bars I have ever been in. I hope he makes it through the pandemic, it would be unfortunate for the community to lose such a great place. It appears that he and his staff are doing everything they can to keep people safe. Check it out, you wont be disappointed.More

The atmosphere is nice although a little loud. But the food is not consistent in quality. First off when you order something it’s not always the same. For example if you order a chef salad sometimes there will be egg sometimes not. I guess the...ingredients depend on the cooks decision or mood. The quality is not consistent either sometimes it’s pretty good sometimes not. Although the waitstaff is pleasant it takes far too long to place your order, receive it and get your check taken care of. I am not able to have lunch there while working.More

One of the few places open for drinks and dinner on a December Sunday evening in Gallup, it's a large partially subdivided set of rooms with multiple screens showing multiple games. It was painfully loud in there, between the games and their various cheering fan...groups, but a roast beef sandwich au jus was tasty and nicely prepared, and came with tasty fresh fries. Fish & chips were likewise fresh, tasty, and satisfying. Waitstaff was friendly, quick and efficient. Now if only my ears would stop ringing... :-)More

I've lived here for 20+ years, and finally dined here to see their collection of sports memorabilia. I should have stuck to my instinct and left upon touring their establishment. Instead, I chose to grab a menu and dine in. Ordered an old fashion burger;...it came on a hoagie. It took a while for the food to come, and even longer for the ticket to come. I was shivering (literally shivering from the ac), so after a long few minutes of waiting (15 minutes after I finished my meal), I finally decided to go to register to pay; but was told I had to wait to pay until server gave me ticket. Waited some more. Finally, when I did get my ticket, I was asked by cashier to 'wait, until I enter all these other tickets". $18.00 later .... it was not worth it at all. Nope. Never again. Excellent sports memorabilia collection; Very mediocre food and poor service.More

After shopping on the main streets, we stopped here for a beer. Wow - huge selection of draft beers. Bartender attentive. It was taco tuesday, so we both enjoyed 2 tacos. Delicious. Would have gone back for a meal, but ran out of time!

The bartender was friendly and helped my husband pick out a NM beer. Lots of interesting memorabilia in the corridor, too. But we left after one drink as there was a table of guys behind us that were F bombing really loudly. After a few...minutes, it got real old.More
