Since this was the top rated restaurant in Gallup, and it was New Year's Eve, we decided to go here. Everything was good, not as excellent as the reviews had lead me to believe, but we were pleased with our meals. It was a bit expensive for the quality, in my opinion. Maybe I had higher expectations for New Year's... More

Our hosts' plane was delayed and the wait staff was very polite and accommodating while we waited for them to arrive. The waitress' service was close to perfect. The food was heavenly. This place made our business meeting more like a night of top quality entertainment.

If you're looking for a place that's 100% elegant, romantic, the historic motif !!!! Yes it's a little pricey but it's one hundred percent worth it !!!

Stayed overnight in Gallup on our way to Scottsdale and the hotel recommended the Badlands Grill. Sure glad they did. I can't decide which was better - the food or the service provided by Chelsey. Both were excellent. Highly recommend Badlands to anyone hungry for great steaks and attentive service.

Ate her early on New Years Eve. Service was very good. We had several servers assist us and kept table clear of empty plates. Food was very good, maybe a little pricey on some things, but overall good value. The only problem with several servers is, our check was brought to us (by a server not our main one) before... More

We walked into this restaurant without a reservation for an early dinner. We were greeted warmly and immediately seated. Our cheerful and efficient server appeared quickly with warm bread and took our wine order while we reviewed the menu. Our food came quickly and was delicious - steak for my husband and steak and lobster for me, both paired with... More

We were very impressed with the efficient, professional & friendly service. We enjoyed their 8oz hamburgers and selected their homemade chips and sweet potato fries as our sides. I also indulged with a cup of their delicious green chile/steak stew. Two glasses of wine, a beer, two dinners and our bill was under $50. The restaurant was busy but we... More

Wonderful service by Jenna and very good food including wonderful meats. In addition, an unexpectedly large and excellent wine list in a very local decor.

We were driving thru New Mexico and we decided to stop here. The décor was great. Our server was top-notch and we really enjoyed our meal. The best restaurant that I have ever eaten at in New Mexico,

Not a chain, Badlands offers true New Mexico hospitality and taste- for those of you traveling through, it's the place where locals go when they want a meal that's truly a cut above the rest, and relax with friends and neighbors. There's no dress code...no pretentiousness...just beef that's been wet-aged for 21 days, cut in-house and cooked to order...combine these with an ice cold beer or excellent bottle of wine... and you've got the stuff a cattleman's dreams are made of!
