Food was great and service was good. Tacos and salsa have a great flavor. Cool place and atmosphere. Has drive-in which is very convenient. A must try and I will repeat my visits.

Dropped in for quick lunch. Sunshine provided courteous and friendly service. Ordered their Deluxe Nacho Platter which was yummy. In support of Cancer Awareness it was served on pink chips and TB is donating a portion of “pink” sales to help cancer victims with expenses....Stop in for great food and service and help a worthwhile cause! Highly recommended and will definitely return.More

We never miss stopping at Taco Box when we visit Clovis. Often we even bring a cooler so we can take a bunch of tacos back home to Albuquerque. Their soft tacos are simply delicious. It's fast food done right!

Great place for a quick meal of real food. My favorite is the Chile Rellano Style Chimichanga. I also teat myself to a heap of tater tots smothered in cheese and green chiles.

As a native of Clovis, I grew up loving Taco Box. Established in 1969, it's now a landmark on 21st street and still a favorite of the HS kids. Having moved away, this is one of the first stops when back in town. Owner Tom...Martin takes a hands on approach to ensure quality food is served in a clean and inviting environment. Everyone was telling me how good their food is and how non-expensive it is. I went to try it out for myself and it wasn't that great. Actually didn't eat everything. Not because I was full, because I didn't think it was good.
Drive-Thru for dinner on a rainy January night. Visited on suggestion from a couple of coworkers, despite the fact that I do NOT like "Fast Food." Sometimes, small chains are worth it. Tried the small "Deluxe Nacho Platter" with added jalapeños, sour cream, and guacamole....Additionally, I grabbed a Combo Burrito. Both were very reasonably priced, and even with the add-ons cost a total of about $7. The Service - Patient. Friendly. Courteous. Professional. Because of that, I didn't mind the "up-sell" with the guacamole and sour cream... so I gladly accepted. The Food: - The Small Deluxe Nachos - Serving Size is about the size of a large "burger box." For fast food, this was surprisingly good. The chips stayed generally crispy. The cheese, beans, and meat stayed warm. (I only had about an 8-10 min drive home). The cold ingredients were pretty darned fresh, considering the source. I'd be happy to have this again. - The Combo Burrito - Unfortunately, in comparison with the nachos, this is boring. It's not bad, per se... just not very exciting. The description of "taco meat, refried beans, and Cheddar cheese" sums it up. Could use some more flavors and/or something fresh in there with some tang/zip. Overall - Is this place on the same level as an authentic Tex-Mex or Mexican place where I'm the only gringo in the joint? No. That said, I visit this place when I want more of a fast food experience, but with quality grub. Forget other fast food taco chains with bells and dels [sic]... come give Taco Box a try. Get the Deluxe Nachos. Splurge a little on the guacamole and sour cream. Absolutely get the jalapeños.More
This place is a Clovis institution. It may be a fast food joint but the varieties and taste of the food is excellent. Give it a try. The red and green sauces are tasty and spicy.
Consistently amazing. I've eaten at this establishment more than any other restaurant even though I only lived in Clovis for 18 years and I've been in the Dallas area for over 30 years. Exceptional customer service. Excellent quality food. Fair prices and always innovative and...new special menu offerings. Thought I was having a flashback to the 70's when I saw the owner's son...and then the owner came in and I was relieved. I thought I was the only one who "grew up". I can't come to Clovis without at least one trip to Taco Box. Thanks for being a constant in my life, Taco Box!More
A local landmark. I love this place. Went their for lunch often in high school. Many people who have moved away immediately go to taco box when they are back in town.
I love stopping here and getting a cherry, vanilla, cream Coke! The cheese sticks are great. Service is fast and friendly!
