I visited the new location with my family and found the food as great as ever. Leal's really knows great Mexican food and turns it out year after year. We had a little of everything off the menu and did not get a complaint from anyone.

Everytime we go to Leal's the food is dry, and portions seem to get smaller. Service isn't that great could be way better. They get orders wrong. This is at both locations. My husband and I have decided to take Leals off of our list of places to eat, when we used to visit once a week. If you want... More

This review is for the Leal's location on 84 in Clovis. Great food and service, but there were many flies outside and almost as many inside. They were very annoying.

I was very disappointed with the food and service. The waitress acted like it was a great chore to take your order. Once the food arrived it was not what I had expected. I have lived in New Mexico for a number of years, and have come to expect good Mexican food. Not hot, but good chili flavor with a... More

This location has been a favorite but the past three times I've been there, the staff has displayed an indifferent "I don't care" attitude. When we entered yesterday the clerk at the front ignored us and went about her business. A waitress finally came by and asked if we had been helped. She seated us then we had another lengthy... The food is so good here! Great Mexican food. Service is ok. You get unlimited chips and salsa that is very good. If they are busy there is a really long wait time.

The shrimp fajitas with the garlic butter sauce are to die for. Order it every time I eat here. Pair it with a Modelo Negro and you are good to go.

I've reviewed this location before and gave high marks but was there yesterday and the service left a lot to be desired. Several staff members standing around while we waited about ten minutes to be acknowledged and seated. Food was good but overall service was slow and the staff didn't seem interested. I hope this was a one time bad... More

Brand New to New Mexico, so many people had stated the Mexican food would be so different and so much tastier thAn back home were we are originally from! We were not impressed at all! However our waitress was super pleasant and the atmosphere was nice!

We've eaten at Leal's before and it's always good. My wife loves their Chimicangas, I try something different every time. We've always had a great meal. One puzzling thing is the sopapillas - they're of the authentic puffed pastry variety (best eaten with honey), but at Leal's they were either tiny or as big as your plate. They're very good... More
