As one drives from Thimpu to Punakha, one can see this on the left near the 108 memorial chortens. One can sit in the cafeteria and see the Gangkar Puensum, the highest peak in Bhutan. Food is decent and is good for a quick bite.

On your left when you arrive from Thimphu!! This cafe will serve as a lifeline is the weather outside is inclement! nice interiors with good service! and they have hot stones on and around a "central" fire place.

Though food menu was made available, they said it will take not less than an hour to prepare veg meals as per menu. They were serving only tea and coffee along with biscuits. They charge 10% tax and 10% service charge. Toilet facilities were clean and available for customers.

This is the one restaurant which has best scenic view I have ever had in my life. While passing through dochula pass and going through one of the most dizzying road travel, you ought to stop at this place, take a breath in cool Himalayan air and sip in the refreshing tea / coffee or anything you want with a... We had coffee and biscuits 2 times here. Not to mention used their washrooms as well. Clean place and value for money. Enjoy the views and take rest before moving on to your next destination :)

Located at Dochula Pass, this restaurant is good stop over while driving to Punakha from Thimphu. It provides a beautiful view of the Himalayas. Food served is generally good. The restaurant is also generally crowded due to the large number of tourists that visit Dochula pass. service is still good.

The Dochula Resort restaurant was a delightful find. An earlier stop found us at a very crowded, noisy place, so we moved on and good thing. Not only is the food good and service great, but the view is spectacular. The little gift shop is reasonably priced and bathrooms clean. Stop, stay, and eat here. You'll love it.

We stayed here for some time while going to Punakha. It is circular shaped restaurant. The view of the Himalaya is very clear & attractive due to clear sky. We took tea only & relax. The price was high but location & temperature inside was very comfortable. It is at a height of 3100 meters.

Visited this Restaurant recently in the month of November, 2016 with a group of 16 members . The Non-veg spread was really good however the veg spread was not that intresting. Food quality is great but the price might be a little heavy on your pocket. The hotel faces the Himalayan range and its a great experience to dine in... More
