As soon as we entered we felt a warm and a familiar atmosphere since we were treated very gently. The food we tried was cooked by the mother who runs the place and her traditional food was simply delicious. The service given by her friendly son was quick and attentive.Very affordable prices. All in all, very recommendable!

A must try while in Berat! The food here is homemade with love and very special. They served amazing sausages from a local farm with breakfast and jams made from local fruit for breakfast. All the food here is made by mom, a wonderful chef, and everything my wife and I tried was excellent. Eni, her son, is a terrific host as well and we had an incredible stay with them. We truly felt like family and can’t wait to return. Definitely stop in for a meal (or two or three) when visiting the historic city of Berat! They also rent out a guesthouse above the restaurant if you find yourself in need of a place to stay.

Amazing food and incomparable . After reading the reviews, we went to Eni's although we were a bit skeptic we got a table and got to try the awesome cooked food. Not just the food but Eni hospitality is also beyond comparison. It felt like going to a relative's home and being fed till and also after you're full. So if you are in Berat, make time and visit the place.

We had dinner at this restaurant and we were greeted very warmly. The treatment was excellent, they were extremely friendly and kind. The food was homemade , it arrived quickly, there were vegan and vegetarian options, the portions are big and everything was delicious. All of that for a nice price. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits Berat, it's worth it, you'll love it.

The restaurant located in Berat overlooking the Berat castle and a water stream is run by 2 amazing hosts (mom and son duo) who welcomed us so warmly, made changes to the food as we were vegetarians and regularly checked about the quality of the food. The family treats you like a family with amazing food. Definitely recommend the restaurant. Don’t forget to check the days special (it keep changing).

If you want to get the best service and the most lovely food go here. We loved it and the staff was so friendly and welcoming the Musaka was absolutely amazing. So if you ever visit berat it would be a shame not to go here and get yourself a lovely meal. Also the homemade wine was amazing and for the price you can’t complain ✨❤️ 10/10

Great traditional food and excellent atmosphere created by the Owners. We had a chance to try different local meals which were delicious but first of all we felt like real guests hosted by friendly owners. It was outstanding experience!

This was the star of our Berat stopover. We did check out al the top rated restaurants here, and this place wins hands down. We went back twice. The place is run by a lady who is local to Berat. She cooks, and her son serves. Not only is the service fast, but inexpensive and very tasty. We had the stuffed eggplants, stuffed peppers, grilled livers, meatballs in gravy (made fresh) and bread. They even packed our takeaway food in one of their plates (which we realized later). Very good location across the Gorica bridge.

One of our first meals on the trip and it was worth the walk. Our first introduction to Albanian cuisine and it was by far one of the best meals we've ever had. Every dish was scrumptious and oozed of Mama Urani's passion for cooking. Her son Eni, was our host and he sure looked after us recommending all the right dishes that had us begging for more. And it's barely 5 minutes from the city center. For anyone visiting Berat, this little gem is a must visit

What a great evening! Overlooking the river and the historic city of Berat, Eni’s restaurant offered excellent service and delicious traditional food cooked by his mother. The vegetable choices were tasty and so was the traditional meatball and the lamb with yogurt special. The excellent wine was from his father’s vineyard- a real family affair!

Nice and typical location. Recommended by the receptionist we decided to give it a try as my partner and I were intrigued by the possibility of trying typical local food. Everything was reasonably good and the prices were very cheap but I wouldn't go back; Why? Simple, totally improvised service with no communication. Only the waiter who took the orders spoke English, the rest simply said “one moment please”. It's a shame because with a simple bit more organization it would have been pleasant too.

Seeing these great reviews, we expected that we would be delighted with dinner at this restaurant. Big mistake! As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a nasty smell, it smelt terribly, but we sat down anyway because we had read that the food was brilliant. We didn't like the fact that the menu cards were terribly greasy, damaged and fit to be thrown away rather than served to guests. We ordered traditional dishes (3 different ones) + fries + tzatziki. First we got the meat, and we got the fries and tzatziki about half an hour later, the fries were actually handmade, but fried so briefly that they were just boiled potatoes inside. We didn't like the food, but that's a matter of taste, but what I didn't like the most was the general mess that reigned there. In the dining room, a lady was preparing food on tables for guests (why not in the kitchen?). There was a terrible mess there, a huge mess. We shared our opinion on Google Maps and the owner responded by wishing us death and writing that he hoped something bad would happen to us. What arrogance and lack of admission of guilt. The worst thing is that the owner doesn't even mention the fact that it was really dirty, it shouldn't be like that in a restaurant, with garbage lying in the fireplace (ecology - what is that?). I later read that good reviews come from people being asked to add them. I don't understand it at all, that's why we made a mistake and went there.

Delicious home-made food. Natural, fresh and super tasty :) We got the food recommendation directly from chef an moussaka with cabbage was awesome. It's like being in a mother's or grandmother's kitchen. Also some locals around us drinking raki and talking in Albanian. Love the whole experience!

Great food, friendly staff. Best stuffed paprika and meatballs in Albania. I have never eaten paprika with skin so soft in my life and the meatballs were really soft and tasty. My recommendation!

I've eaten here at least 5/6 times during my stay in Berat, and I tried almost everything on the menu. Every dish is incredible, it gave me a cozy, homey feeling, but if I have to recommend one, go for the moussaka. Most choices are vegetarian, but there's also meat. It's a pretty complete menu. You can tell the food is prepared with love, and the owner is just an amazing person! If you stop by Berat I'd suggest trying Eni's, you won't regret it!
