I took a pilgrimage to this place after several years of reading the news on the Harry The Horse website. Also a handy way to walk off my hangover from the night before. I walked from the Swiss Chalet Hotel, so quite thirsty when I arrived. I had a couple of OJs, 50 pesos each, service was friendly & attentive.... More

You can always find Expats visiting Angeles City at the Blue Boar Inn where billards and darts occupy a pleasant way to pass the time. The Rotary Club of Clark Centennial meets there on Tuesdays at noon. The La Casa Pension also has a few rooms available for rent. The food is mostly American and Australian.

I have the same thing year in year out. Tacos! Extra cheese less meat and you get 2 for 110 pesos. Then I watch a movie and go home. same late night routine for years , They close at 11pm. Their food is good and cheap

I have stayed at many places in Angeles City, there is no better value then the Blue Boar Inn. For less then $25 a night I get a nice clean room, AC, WIFI, security, friendly people, excellent service and the list goes on and on. I have become friends with the owner although I rarely see them. The best friends... More

Worn out rooms and bar, this place has been in business for about 40 odd years I think, run by a strange old American guy who found a niche business in which to support himself and family on his pension, if you are not in your 70's+, American andwith approaching blindness and deafness don't even think about visiting. This is... More
