Warung Nia is not to be missed. We came here 2 years ago so decided to try again. We ordered all the same food and it did not disappoint. We had the mixed option (chicken, pork seafood skewers). It comes on a charcoal grill and is served with sides. Our server, Kiwi (Tiwi) was great, a very natural approach. The only catch was the service charge and tax. I don’t usually manage the finances so was surprised when our $300k spend resulted in $350k bill. All good, a meal for two circa $35 is well worth this food (including 5 beers)

Welcome, food and service!!!

Definitely a must go place when in Seminyak! Starting from a fun welcoming experience where all the waiting staff is singing for you when you arrive. The food is delicious and they make sure there's always someone to look after you. Our waitress, Ayu, was so helpful and spent time just chatting with us - we ended up getting some good recipes of some traditional Balinese foods and drinks, and tips for what to do and where to go. Love this place.

Great food and vibe

My wife, daughter and I just loved Warung Nia. It is a bit rough around the edges and therein lies it charm. We ordered one of their sets, including some of the best pork ribs we had, and a platter of the pork satay and boy, were we happy! The meat was cooked beautifully and had the right balance of flavours. Yum, yum! Our orders were taken by a young boy (forget his name). He was kind and patient and explained the menu and explained well how much we needed to order. And then came the famous Darling! She was gregarious, chatty and up for a laugh. She just shone through and no wonder she is mentioned so often by diners in their reviews. Very memorable and friendly. As we were leaving she came by again to ask if we had enjoyed dinner. We just loved it.

Not worth the wait!

When we entered the restaurant, more than half of the tables were empty. Despite that fact we waited near an hour! The meat was nice, but the portions were small. The rice included in the set as a side dish was very very little. I asked how much will an extra cup of rice cost and they told me 45K - which is the price of a main dish in a different highly rated restaurant!!! We were very excited after reading the comments in Trip Advisor, but will not this twice - that’s for sure! Better go to another place!

Definitely check out this wonderful restaurant for quality service and food. The staff give you a very warm welcome on arrival and the food is absolutely delicious whilst displaying all the local flavours. Our waitress Ayu was very helpful and warm and gave us a great experience. Will definitely come back when in Seminyak. Thank you!

Winner winner ribs for dinner!

Came here as a family of 2 adults and 2 kids. My husband had the fried rice with chicken satays and then ordered another 8 satays. I picked the ribs with no spice to share with my daughter which also came with 2 grilled corn on the cob. These meals were super delicious and staff were really lovely. I had a cold and ordered some healthy ginger and lemongrass drink which was amazing!!!! I could live on that every day.

Nice affordable Indonesian food

This restaurant was a short walk from our villa - we loved the open air style and ambience and the band playing there was great! We tried their Bebek Goreng Rijstaffel (Fried duck set meal) for the two of us. It included a combination of chicken and pork satay which was very tasty as well as small side dishes which was great as we could try a few different dishes without getting too full. Though we didn't try it ourselves, we noticed many other tables ordered the pork ribs which must've been good. We wanted to try their local desserts but were too full so the staff kindly allowed us to take away their Glutinous Black Rice with Coconut milk and their Dadar Gulung (pandan pancake with coconut palm sugar inside). Both were super yummy! We would like to thank Ratna and the rest of the staff for their wonderful service and we definitely want to come back here next time we come to Bali!

Best satay

They had very good satay. The satay came with small carcoal grill that make your satay still warm. They food are so fresh with tasty balinesse family recipes. They also had live music for dinner. When u look for the real best indonesian food, just come. They will serv you best food with nice presentations. They staff also very helpfull. When we asked to had a taxi, they teach us to used online transport which is the best choise. You should to come, they will sing for you when you arrive.

Amazing pork ribs!

Really enjoyed the friendly service, especially Kiwi who was wonderful. My husband and I had the pork dish and it was the best. Flavourful and well cooked as it was super moist, and opted for spice level 3. It was a good level of spice since I normally do eat spicy. We also had the mix skewer set and enjoyed them too. Each dish was 100k and well worth the value for the quality of food.

BEST SATAY EVER

stumbled upon this restaurant while wandering the flea market at seminyak, Kiwi our server is a delighful happy young lady, very helpful. Told us all about the cooking classes they provide here Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We are having Chicken and Pork satay, fresh, juicy meat, cooked to perfection.

Delicious, spicy pork ribs

This place was awesome! It was perfect for our first night in Bali, and the food was delicious. I got the level ten spicy pork ribs and even though I was just a kid, they believed me and made it spicy! The severs were really nice and they all shouted and sang, WELCOMMME!! WELCOMME! It was great. We got to talk with our sever for a while and she was super nice and friendly.

First dinner in Bali during my fourth Bali Trip

My 4th visit to Bali. This time I’m with my wife. We stay in Tijili Seminyak Hotel and saw this Warung Nia with high review score. I ordered the 400g grill pork ribs and my wife ordered chicken satay set. Both dishes are really tasty and delicious. The waiter Iyu was very kind and we chitchat with her after the meal. Definitely will recommend my friends to visit this nice ambient eating place.

Great customer service, great food & ambience.

Waitress Kartika was superbly friendly and attentive. Helped us with extra helpings of food and mosquito sprays. Ordered Grill Pork Ribs Balinese Set C and Mixed Sates Set and they were amazing!!! Food came after only 15mins as promised. Sambal (chilli paste) was good! Babi Kicap & Balinese Fried Rice(must try!) were scrumptious too! Good live music, good Bintang beer. Very good vibes. They’ve got many friendly waitresses around, namely Darling & Kiwi. Spiciness level was just mild, but if you ever need more spice, just dip into its Sambal. Road leading there was a bit jammed with cars. But you could do with just walking or pillion ride motorbikes there. The only downside is even the air-conditioned room had some mosquitoes.

Comfortable dinner with live music

Ordered the satay and ribs set, which arrived promptly and tasted pretty good. The staff were very helpful and also introduced the dishes before we started to eat. Also a big thank you to Kiwi for making us feel so welcome.
