For dinner the restaurant offers 2 sittings, 6pm or 8:30pm and booking is highly recommended.
We started the evening with some fantastic pre-dinner cocktails in the sling bar which is located above the restaurant. Make sure you visit the bar if coming to this restaurant!
From the bar you make your way down a grand staircase to the restaurant with us then being seated in our booth.
Our waiter for the evening was Ova, he was polite and very knowledgeable.
The menu is varied with its specialties being steaks from the grill. Slightly more expensive than other restaurants in the area however it’s definitely worth it for the food and being from the UK it’s great value for money.
The steak was perfectly cooked and really tasty. For side dishes I would recommend one choice of potatoes and one choice of vegetables as being more than suitable for two people to share.
As we were celebrating a birthday I made contact with the restaurant and on pre-ordering a dessert they prepared a birthday message on the plate. Placed a candle in it and sang happy birthday on presentation.
The restaurant has a great atmosphere and also had a live singer performing throughout the service.
A special thanks to Dewinta who I was in contact with ahead of the dinner and who made the arrangements for the birthday dessert.

I am writing a review in gratitude for the plantation Grill which we attended with friends for a birthday It was the most memorable birthday events that we have shared and also a complimentary birthday cake
The atmosphere inside the restaurant was amazing soothing and welcoming set off with music by a trumpet player that gave it a lovely feel
The food was of world class and staff were professional and polite came to us promptly when needed always with a smile
Huge thank you to Muliati who made this evening one to remember she went above and beyond
Friends we’re so impressed we returned for breakfast which catered for all areas of food
Then also the following evening joined into the fun filled evening of rooftop bar which was also something to finish our holiday off on a high
Thank you to chefs for such exquisite meals
Thank you to the professional staff that served us
Most of all a huge thank you to Muliati for making all this possible you are an asset to the Double Six hotel
Yours faithfully

Plantation Grill surprised and delighted me in every moment…. The ambience as you walk in is breathtaking, the lighting is the perfect and the hospitality was very warm and welcoming. The food was phenomenal as a starter I enjoyed the fresh oysters, which were of 5 star quality, then I enjoyed the most tender marble steak coupled with lovely side dishes. For desert we indulged in the incredible Bomb Alaska which was superb in every sense. I have known of Plantation Grill for a long time and never been. This was such a wonderful surprise and I’ll surely be back! Thank you

The Plantation Grill would have to be one of my most favourite dining experiences in Bali and I have been travelling to Bali for 43 years.
It is a must go to restaurant if you prefer fine dining. Firstly though you have to book in advance as it is both very popular not just with guests at the hotel but with outsiders as well.
The manager is Nigel who is the most charming and knowledgable man greets you at the front or one of the beautiful hostesses and takes you to your table. Visually stunning and a throw back to the Twenties the atmosphere is so sophisticated and relaxed at the same time.
If you prefer a cocktail or apéritif before dinner, walk up the circular stairwell to the Sling Bar. Again visually stunning and amazing cocktails.
Once seated at your table you are completely spoilt by the attentiveness and knowledge of the waiters. The menu has a large selection of both seafood and meat dishes which will not disappoint. Put simply mouth watering and delicious. World class chefs and 5 star dining. Last year given the honour of one of the top 10 restaurants in Bali🤩🤩
The drinks menu will not disappoint either. You are spoilt for choice from a variety of wines and champagne from around the world. The Sommelier is only too happy to recommend as you are spoilt for choice.
Lastly the entertainment. Depending on what evening you dine you will have live an amazing soprano singer or saxophonist.
I can’t rate this restaurant highly enough. A MUST!!!!!

Once upon a time serious steakhouses we’re just like the Plantation Grill intended them to be .
The jaw drops to the floor as you are greeted and make you way down the spiral staircase to be seated .
The ambiance just envelopes you . The decor is 1920s Great Gatsby with towering glass walls that look out to the ocean .
Seating are spaced and comfortable . Dark wood panelling and flooring lends itself to the mood lighting to highlight it in its glory .
The wine list is expansive enough without the need to overwhelm the diner .
The meals is what you really come here for and they all presented gloriously .
There was most of the steaks on show ( exception of the aged wagyu ) which I will challenge on my next visit .All steaks cooked to perfection and were devoured by the diners with the thumbs up .
We mixed a few sides around and also sampled the Sam Francisco soup . Do not pass this soup up … it’s bliss in a bowl .
In between intermissions an opera singer comes down and belts out o few songs to get the crowd to soak up the atmosphere even more .
In all restaurant experience’s there is the service and price that also leave an impression as to wether you recommend and return .
The PlantationGrill staff are exceptional , attentive and dressed in the era . The kitchen is on show and the chefs are busy crafting their handiwork in the background with minimal fuss .
The price is at the top end of pricing , deservedly so as well . It is the premier steakhouse in Bali in my reserved opinion.
The Plantation Grill gives you an opportunity to experience fine dining at its finest at a fraction of the cost you would pay in other parts of the world .
Kudos to all concerned at the Plantation Grill .

Loved every single things in this restaurant
Everything was perfect from the ambiance, the food, service. Fabolous!!!
Upon our arrival we were hosted by Nigel, restaurant manager to our table and he was very detail and attentive to us. He really knew how to please the customer.
During dinner, our server Dipta did a great job and make our dinner feels special. He also knows how to take a good picture of us 😄
The food was a top notch. The chef did amazing job with the food.
We ordered a lot of foods and the highlight are the ribeye and pork belly. It was fenomenal.
Soprano singer last night complete our experience, very magical and beautiful.
Definitely a must to go place for next level dinner experience in Seminyak.

Food was quite nice but service is another thing. Menu had Shaw & Smith Sav Blanc which we love so ordered but when trying to drink realised this was off so was not drunk when we explained this when paying our bill they bought the manager out who would not listen & was nothing but arrogant & tried to make us look like absolute idiots. Ruined a very special 50th Birthday event.

We take all feedback seriously at The Plantation Grill Seminyak, Please accept my apologies if you think you were treated like idiots, however it seems this review is very biased towards our Restaurant Manager. The wine was tasted and approved by your guests, and later rejected, was also tasted by the Operations Manager, Sommelier and Restaurant Manager and was still in good condition and did not taste like the “vinegar “ that your friends suggested. Perhaps the taste of the wine was affected by the numerous cocktails that was consumed by your group on Rooftop Sunset Bar before your dinner, or the ice that she put in the wine glass on consumption. The one bottle of wine was removed from the bill as requested as several guests were highly aggressive towards the Manager and causing a commotion at the front desk making the remaining tables in the restaurant uncomfortable. Don’t let this isolated experience ruin your memory of your celebration.
We look forward to welcome you back again in The Plantation Grill Seminyak on your next visit to Bali.

We visited for our sons birthday as he loved steak.
We had an early sitting and it was nice looking out over the sunset.
We ordered a T bone for all three of us with chips and a Roman salad.
They came around with bread which was ok but it felt forced when advised of French butter etc. Don’t bother it’s Indonesia not France.
The T bone arrived and we were offered condiments eg various mustards and salts.
Unfortunately the steak was too chewy to eat. Flavour was ok but sinewy, grisly and inedible.
Excessively expensive and over the top, try not to get dizzy and nauseous on the walk to the tacky bathrooms

This restaurant is in a different league. The restaurant is beautiful, the waiters attentive and the food is delicious. It has been a high point of our eating in Bali in the seven days we have been here so far. The steaks are cooked to perfection and my shrimp starter was scrummy. My husband had a chocolate cake that I wish I had ordered. If you want a fabulous dining experience then make a booking.

Gorgeous top end restaurant! The whole experience, ambiance, food, service was extraordinary. Quite pricey, but for this quality you have to pay everywhere in the world…
We were there as a family of 5 and had the chance to taste a wide range of options from the menu. Quality of our melas were excellent!👌

The Plantation Grill has become our go to place to dine out in Bali. It is consistently excellent in every aspect.
Firstly I would like to note that Nigel is a most charming host and makes sure that every visit is a special occasion.
I think every diner would say that the decor and general environment is absolutely spectacular. You know you’re in for a special night as you walk into the restaurant.
We took friends there for their first visit and they both were very impressed saying it was the highlight of their holiday. They are already planning their return.
I have always found the food and drink offerings to be outstanding and I find it hard to pick out what I’m going to choose as the menu is has so many wonderful things on it.
Another wonderful thing is the live entertainment that is provided during the course of the evening, making it a special night any night that you were there.

The ambiance was elegant, enhanced by a talented soprano singer who created a fantastic atmosphere. The steak was cooked to perfection, complemented by a rich sauce that elevated the dish. Impressive selection of wines which paired wonderfully with the steak. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience that I would highly recommend!

This is one of my favourite Resturant's in Semiyak.
Very classy and unique with a 50 s style ambience
Top class food served in a unique fashion , brilliant service
Price wise Value for money
I have dined at this resturant many times over the years , for me its defiantly one of the many highlights of staying at the fabulous Double Six Hotel
