This place has an original charm, it just makes you want to take a seat and hope the food is as entertaining. Stepping inside is like a visit to the other side of Alice's looking glass. An artificial lawn, a garden swing, and some entertaining artwork, go hand in hand with good service and good food at this brunch and... More

This place is aweful. Food atmosphere the lot. Our experience here was disgraceful. Is this place a fair dinkum Italian restaurant. Absolutely not. Would I ever recommend this place to anyone. Absolutely not. Why? Because the food is not fresh, the kitchen is old and looks like it needs a total update, and the chef (on duty) who was definitely... More

We used Trip Advisor to research Italian restaurants and decided to chose Zibiru not only because of the reviews but more because of the creativity of the menu. Needless to say we were not disappointed. I cannot pronounce the Italian name of my first dish but it was one of the daily specials. A roast beef carpaccio with a tuna... More

We really enjoyed our meal at Zibiru. We sat outside even though it was hot because the candels and setting was worth it. Pasta was excellent although service size could perhaps be a little bigger. For the ladies it was fine but the guys would have liked more. They gave us complimentary bread and sample size of zuccini soup which... More

Great service, cute restaurant. Sitting outside is much nicer than inside but the outside is a smoking area. All their pastas are freshly made and the selection is varied. Gnocchi was out of this world as was the eggplant parmigiana. Beautiful presentation. Desserts were also lovely. The only downside was they don't have champagne/ sparkling by the glass, which I... This place is Like a little paradise hidden away in busy Seminyak. Once you stepped in, you will be surprised by the set up. Beautiful, calm and pleasant. The pasta are handmade and made to perfection, even my 4 year old ate hers and loved it. We had few drinks and enjoyed a few hours in this amazing place, worth... More

In our quest to find an authentic Southern Italian Cusine we decided upon Zibiru . I would much prefer to write a positive review but our experience needs to be told. On the night in question.there was just one other couple who appeared to have complained about the new fangled lights, consisting of a huge clear globe with a large central... More

Zibiru serves by far the best Italian food in Bali. Every dish is homemade with fresh local ingredients, wine selection is interesting and decently priced. Cooking and seasonings are well handled, a real taste of Italy. Have been there several times and will come back without a doubt. Food, service and ambiance worth 5* in both my heart and my... More

Description
Since opening its doors in August of 2012, Zibiru has garnered a loyal following with its regional Italian cuisine made from fresh ingredients. The restaurant has something for everyone, from food enthusiasts to wine lovers: During the day a gastronomic deli, offering sandwiches with premium Italian products as well as vegan and vegetarian choices. 5 to 7pm is Aperitivo time with wine tasting and a chance to sample complementary bites from the kitchen. Come at night to listen to soul music and jazz, an ideal soundtrack for friends catching up or for couples seeking intimate conversation amid a romantic setting. We offer a feast for all five senses, providing a little refuge from the noise and liveliness of Seminyak. Adorned with authentic details exuding old Bali charm, Zibiru revives the romance of the past with its whitewashed facade, hand-carved wooden interiors and handmade furnishings. We offer three different dining experiences: al fresco in the garden amidst lush tropical flora; under the stars of the rooftop lounge; or in the haven of its non-smoking interior. The menu showcases the best offerings from the field; market-fresh fish arrives daily, bread is homemade on site, and pasta is handcrafted from scratch. Organic heirloom vegetables are harvested from Zibiru's own environmentally friendly farm in the mountains of Bali. Zibiru offers a chance to taste the splendor of Italy's various regions all under one roof. Live jazz every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
