I don't even know where to start my review... So we went to Bali for our honeymoon and we decided to have a top quality brunch on our first weekend. We found Seasalt and booked it weeks ahead without any problems.
Upon arrival we were blown away by the beautiful views the restaurant had. The place was full and the buffet seemed amazing.
Our waiter Wira was so incredibly nice during our stay there, we really want to thank him specially for his kindness and professional hospitality.
We chose the seafood brunch including alcoholic drinks, which has a rather higher price than the one without, but I do have to mention here, that the quality of drinks was outstanding, not some overpriced watered something... The seafood and a la carte dishes we could choose from the menu were superb and the orders were delivered in minutes.
I believe we stayed there at least 3 hours and we had the most fun and most incredible food in all our stay in Seminyak.
Thanks to the Management and their incredible team, we loved it there and hope to return one day.

My husband and I have been visiting seminyak for many years and as a chef we have tried to visit as many of the top class restaurants as possible. Seasalt is THE stand out restaurant in bali in my opinion. The sunset setting as we walked in was the icing on the cake to a prefect setting. We started with cocktails in lounge chairs, which were spot on. Perfectly mixed and served with a great greeting by staff. The table was immaculately set and the speciality bread of the restaurant was a great start to the meal and a good talking point from the server for the ethos of the food in Seasalt. The food was superb. Perfectly balanced flavours, interesting but not pretentiously so. Show stopping presentation and with michelin level service that was relaxed and friendly yet attentive and discreet. Timings were on point, and not an eyelid was batted when, with FOMO kicking in, we ordered most of the desserts on the menu. Novri one of the lead staff was utterly charming and made our night extra special with his attention to detail. You could easily tell that the atmosphere with the staff was so happy and dedicated that as a chef it was wonderful to watch. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting bali as the place to be come sunset and only wish we had time to return before we had left. But next time Novri for sure!

Cocktail at the sunset, followed by 3 course dinner is just amazing experience in a dynamic, yet romantic surroundings with beautiful sea view and seafood delights.
They surprise you with amuse-bouche and top it with their bread, served with uniquely prepared butter (wrapped in nori and baked in sea salt). Another unexpected thing you get on your table is a set of 5 types of salt, which will gain your attention for sure, even if you are not used to put salt in your meals. It worse tasting!!!
So, I got a set menu with appetizer, main and dessert to be selected out of 4. The selection I would recommend is “Star Fish” aka Raw Tuna as a starter, Hamachi for main and Passion Coco for dessert.
Atmosphere is calming, the staff is very professional and the cuisine is beautiful and delicious.
The only thing made me sad is I was there solo without my partner. However, I got an idea of perfect experience for two to surprise him on our next visit!
I would recommend Seasalt for those who are looking for coastal dining experience with flawless service, atmosphere and cuisine!

Wow, what a place!! A must for your visit to Bali. On arrival we were greeted by friendly door staff and Manager (Nevri) who was such an awesome host from the beginning, and made sure we were looked after the entire night. Starting off with a pre-dinner cocktail by the beach to watch the sunset, we soon made our way to a front row table to enjoy the most incredible seafood dishes.
Honestly one of the best places I’ve been in Bali (and I’ve been here many times over the years). Will definitely be back!! Thank you Seasalt staff for a great experience.

After 10 nights in Seminyak we decided to head to Seasalt to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Our palates were craving seafood and from the time we entered we were greeted with out of this world service and charm. Seated with wonderful beach view of the sunset we started with some cocktails and appetisers consisting of tuna and prawn, all were wonderful. My wife and I love a whole fish and as their signature is a whole snapper in salt we went with it accompanied with my favourite, octopus legs. Both dishes were phenomenal, subtle flavours cooked Japanese traditional ways, you cannot be disappointed.
We finished the night with a chocolate lava cake and a raspberry tart. If I could give Seasalt 6 stars out of 5 I would. Seriously simple subtle flavours but truly unique.

Wow! This seaside restaurant has it all...location, food and service! My partner and I were warmly welcomed by the staff upon arrival and the outstanding service never stopped. Our host, Nevri, looked after us with the tastiest seafood cuisine, delicious cocktails and finest wine. We had a table on the terrace overlooking the beach as the sunset. It could have not been a more magical dinning experience in Bali! Can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough.

My wife and I celebrated her birthday at this exquisite restaurant. We were very lucky it wasn't busy (due to the current worldwide health crisis), so we were seated on the terrace with a view of the sunset.
As soon as we walked in, we were amazed, and that was before we had even tried the food!
The staff were so professional and super friendly, they made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant.
My wife choose the chefs selection which included the wagu steak that had been slow cooked on a woodfire for 72 hours. It was the best steak we'd ever tasted.
The little touches made the experience even more special.
This is the best place we've ever eaten in Bali, and we've tried lots.
The only thing that would have enhanced the experience was if they had mist fans, as it was very hot under the roof. However this by no means spoilt our evening. We'll be back. Thank you to all staff.

We booked a table online for 6pm, when we arrived every staff member welcomed us like we have been going there for years. The sunset was amazing. But the food was an art for in it’s self. I had the smoked black cod for entree, presentation was a WOW factor and the food was just out of this world. Every dish we had was amazing. Staff were very attentive to all of our needs. Also very well priced menu. We will be going back again with no hesitation.

A perfect spot to enjoy sunset, and right aftar that, enjoying your dinner.
Had chicken sushi and fish (snapper) cury. To be honest, the view of the sunset outweighs the food. In other words, the food tastes so-so.
When I ordered mango juice when waiting for the room was prepared two days after, (I was checking in at the Alila Hotel after that first visit to the property), it wasn't thick juice (smoothie from fresh fruit). Well, it was ok for me. However, when I had the bfast and ordered mango juice again, to my surprise, it WAS the smoothie from fresh mango. I wonder why they provided two versions of mango juice???🤔🤔😄😄😄. Out of interest, they have nice, thick plain yoghurt for the bfast. Love it!

We have dined here several times. We have enjoyed their seafood tapas brunch and several dinners. The staff is magnificent especially the chef! He made us a special chicken dish during the seafood brunch when i mentioned I didn’t exactly eat “seafood” !! Their beef short rib is AMAZING! You can also enjoy looking out into the ocean. This restaurant is inside of a 5 star hotel and is very accessible!

I went here with my wife for a dinner and catching up with my very good friend who’s staying in Alila and we weren't disappointed, the staffs were very friendly and professional, the food was amazing and most of all the atmosphere and views were breath taking,No wonder why this restaurant has been listed as one of the best restaurant in Seminyak. I have made the right decision to come here and for sure we will keep coming again. service is very attentive and despite how busy the place was, the waiter always be on the top of everything. I would highly recommend this place and of course this restaurant deserved more than 5 stars!

We came for dinner with great expectations: lovely menu, great ambiance, great location. It didn't work out so well.
We had informed the restaurant in advance about my wife's allergies and when the waiter came for the order he acknowledged it, we mad sure to eliminate any ingredients which might contain it, and it seemed to be written down appropriately. Only after the starter was served, the waiter then came by and said that indeed the order contained allergens. So without the ability to look at the menu again they suggested a replacement sauce for the barramundi which we had to accept. But the barramundi was awful, just skin and fat, not suitable for serving. My wife had also ordered a baked potato which did not come. When it did come it was well after the main courses were served - and not really looking like what was ordered anyway. (Potatoes for dessert anyone?)
We've been in enough restaurants and know that things like that happen. But we found the staff not professional about this nor really willing to help. We finally had to speak with the manager who, despite being apologetic and offering us free cocktails for our next visit (really??), didn't really get it. We had to ask for the barramundi and the potato (the "dessert" we sent back) to be taken off the bill.
Beyond that, the menu looks inventive but in reality is just weird. The butter (with parmesan cheese) served with the bread comes in a big salt casing which is hammered away at the table leaving the a seaweed casing. Impressive but at the end of the day tastes just like butter with some cheese. My starter was the crab with melon: the crab was canned and the melon made the dish watery. I will recommend the octopus, but the bacon rice (this is a fish restaurant after all) was just out of place. And we were a bit perplexed about the pouring skills of the wait staff: one wine by the glass seemed to range about 100% higher than another. Small gripes, but nobody there seems to get it.
The location is splendid and the place has a good vibe, but this place needs a lot more training and discipline before I even give it an average rating.

We came across the Seasalt restaurant while walking along the beach in Seminyak.
It is a beautiful restaurant in a stunning location right on the beach and very welcoming.
The staff are very helpful, friendly, polite, courteous and address you personally by name.
We ordered the snapper and various vegetable side dishes. The food is very fresh, well cooked and beautifully presented.
Portions are a bit on the small side and prices are high (even for Bali !) so you really are paying for the quality, stunning location and direct view of the ocean !!
The restaurant is connected to the adjoining upscale Alila (means surprise in Balinese !) Seminyak Hotel.
Well worth a visit for a special occasion though.

We stayed at AlilA Seminyak Hotel booking through Luxury Escapes. The deal included vouchers to dine at their restaurant Sea salt with an inclusion of 3 course set menu offering.
Great food, the chef is very clever making these dishes so unique. The bread and butter was absolutely superb with the butter housed within a mackerel fish. The canapés and petit four homemade chocolates are delicious.
The service was fantastic by our waiter Andy who for two nights looked after us. His service language and fine dining training clearly showed as he used our names regularly, was very knowledgeable of all dishes and wines and ensured we were enjoying the dining experience, which we definitely could not fault.
Thanks for a memorable experience and we look forward to joining you again in the future.

We made a same day dinner reservation and got a nice table for two facing the ocean with an unobstructed view. We ordered the omikase, chefs choice, and had four delicious courses complete with amuse bouche, intermezzos and drink pairings, all beautifully presented and explained for far less than we would pay in the states. With drink pairing was $75US pp and without, $35. Fantastic food and ambiance at an incredible price.
