It’s an expensive lunch spot with staff (mostly front check in and girls in the dresses) that make you feel like you’re going through airport security.
I had my nanny meeting me there and the front staff were rude and not helpful to her.
The food was good. I switched from cocktails to a glass of wine as the cocktails weren’t great. For a very light lunch and drinks AU $150 plus the Rp100,000 per person entry fee plus RP 50,000 per towel.
An ok day, wouldn’t rush back.

Very expensive and a total rip off. You have to pay $10 Australian per person to get in to the place. We were informed if we didn’t want to go in the pool it would be free entry! Who would not want to go into the pool??! It’s a pool club!
Then you have to leave your own towels at reception and hire theirs for a further $5 per towel. So as a family of 4 it’s now $60 just to get through the door!
Then you have the choice of a day bed with a further minimum spend of $200 not including the 17% taxes added on top or you can sit at a bench for no extra charge.
Lunch for 4 with soft drinks was over $100!!!
The pool was lovely and the jumping platform was fun but this is one of the biggest tourist trap rip off going!
Much much much better beach clubs out there!!!!

Absolutely Love this place.
We will be back.
Such a gorgeous venue, feels like Europe.
Very Friendly staff too. Very attentive.
Day bed is worth the $150 aud when it goes towards food and beverage.
Only negative is paying entry fee on top of the day bed fee.

I want to state I have not visited here but I have friends who have. I recently inquired with the staff about prices and promos.
In the past this club has had a cover charges of 100,000 that has been credited for food and beverage. This has now changed and you now have to pay that with no benefit: also you can’t bring your own towels so you lose another $5AUD for hire. On top of this the menu is almost Australian prices.
In my opinion the hotel pools your staying at are better value. If Mr Sippys revert back to 100,000 is redeemable to food and beverage then it’s manageable.
Consider whether you’re happy to pay cover charges.

Wow. Things have really changed here. This place used to be great, but now a bit too much. The paranoia that you’re going to run off without paying to the attitude from the hostess as you walk in… it’s left a real bad vibe.
From having to pay when you get in $20 per person that is not even provided as a food and beverage credit to having bags checked with all food in it confiscated. Not great if you’re travelling with toddlers that do genuinely are carrying around incidentals is a bit much.
Very sad to see such a great venue become such a hostile place to come.
Rethink this one if you would like to be treated like a normal citizen.

Nice place, trendy, good music, ok food, good service, but for me they ruin all of it by a money grabbing mindset.
A few examples - we cannot bring our own towel and had to leave it at the reception; we even had to leave our water bottle at the reception too; and then when ordering food say every 5 minutes we have to pay after each plate or bottle of water, it is crazy.
When discussing with the waiters, you can see they agree with you, and can only come up with a “this is the rules” answer.
At least you now know…

What a complete waste of money!!
I was more than happy to pay for the use of a towel and a day bed as well as do my minimum spend of $100 aud per person but after spending 4 or so hours by the pool and drinking 1 espresso martini, 6 gin and soda, 2 margaritas and a frozen daiquiri (that’s the same each for 2 people and spent around $250 AUD I was not even a little bit tipsy to say the least! The drinks were over priced and half strength and to be perfectly honest… crap! I would NEVER go back again. I’m more than angry, I’m disappointed…. Step it up guys, that was a joke and a waste of my last day in Bali

There are many beach/pool clubs in and around Bali. This one is like flying a budget airline. The staff try to squeeze every little dollar out of you. This is the only beach club that charges you an entry free. You get nothing for it. They charge you for everything..towels, where to sit...and the drinks..let's just say all of them are alcohol free. But they try to get you to pay before you can even taste them. We ordered two Aperol Spritz that had only water and apperol. We showed the manager the menu where it states it includes Proseco and soda. The drinks were so flat. She was shocked we questioned her. Mrs Sippy is the only venue in Bali where the hospitality is bad...all they care about is payment and money. Check out other beach clubs like Potatoe Head or Cafe Del Mar where you pay no entry and you can enjoy your day! Also this venue attracts mostly families and children. So if you are looking for adults only, try a different option.

Such a fun day! The food and cocktails were great. Jumping from the platform into the pool was so fun.. Great vibe and music was better than other beach clubs I've been to. The service was impeccable. The waiter who served on us all day really should be commended, he was so fantastic and helpful the entire day. The fries and those sate/satay sticks *drool*!..... A bit disappointing that you still have to hire a towel even when hiring a daybed, particularly when other beach clubs offer for free and continue to replace for free throughout the day. Be mindful that expenses at a beach club all day can add up very quickly

Overall we had a good day here however it does feel like a bit of a rip off. To have to pay an entry fee on top of daybed fee is a bit ridiculous. You'd think that would be something they would waive for those who were already spending a decent amount of money on a daybed.
I was surprised that despite the high cost there's no showers or changing rooms. All other pools we went to had this facility whereas here there's just an outdoor shower and toilets to change in - not really reflective of the high price tag.
It'd be helpful to ask guests upon booking or arrival if they prefer a sunny or shaded day bed as we ended up swapping with people close by.
Drinks, food and staff were good.

We visited Mrs Sippy during a stay in December 2022. Paid $20 each entry then found out that this was not to be credited towards food or drink as it was a "party day". We were there for about four hours and only recorded music was playing, perhaps later on the party might have started however we had other activities to attend. Further charges for a towel and beach lounge chair. Check in was not a nice experience, we had to open our bags under the eagle eye of a rather aggressive "hostess" to make sure we did not have towels, food or drinks.
The hospitality staff were very pleasant and the meals were very good but it was quite an expensive outing just to sit by a crowded pool.

We had dinner and drinks there and it was so delicious. We ordered the prosciutto pizza, pulled pork tacos, and chargrilled cauliflower salad. Their special Long Island ice teas were the best cocktails we had all trip. Only downside is how expensive it was but I’d still recommend you trying it out if you’re planning on buying a lot of drinks on your night out anyway.

We stumbled on to Mrs Sippy on a day when Potato Head was closed for a private function. We went midweek so it was a little quiet but it was perfect as I can imagine it gets pretty full on the weekend with families, with kids wanting to get involved with the diving platforms. The swim up bar was a hit, and we loved floating on the large beanbags in the pool. A little more expensive than others and lacking beach views, the food was delicious and the drinks even more so!

We returned a few times after not being able to travel to Bali from Australia during the Covid period, and Sippy's is still a great place, but they have some areas to improve thats for sure.
The place is great, large pool, plenty of seating areas with shade, sun beds, lounges, shaded areas with high tables close to the bar and more.
The menu is large and plenty of options to choose from. The prices are a little inflated and you will pay a premium but you are in a pool club type venue, so its what you would expect.
I was disappointed when we visited that the pool bar wasn't ever open, yes covid times, but there plenty of people in the pool that would of used the pool bar if it was open. At times it was hard to find someone to take an order when in and around the pool, so the pool bar would of generated more revenue overall.
The day beds have a minimum spend, which is fine if you're there for a few hours, drinking, and eating, not an issue. You also pay for towels, so they do catch you out if you want to dry off at the end of the day, even after spending $400 australian dollars we couldn't get a towel for free which was sucky!
There is a cover charge to enter, $10 aud per person, but we argued this as we would spend a few hundred drinking and eating, so why charge us a cover charge, and we got it waivered. I do see the point of it at times to keep the riff raff away, but it should be a minimum spend perhaps charge, rather than a cover charge?
Great venue, good vibes, the music from the DJ is hit and miss, not everyones vibe, but the diving platform is entertaining!
Not sure what was going on, but one day they had limited brands of beer, and another day they ran out of bintang, and another time they had no bintang. No staff to order bintang? who runs out of bintang in bali?!!? crazy!
The slushies are nice, refreshing and tasty, but not sure how much alcohol actually goes into them as we sobered up drining these, stick to what you know i say!
Better service around the pool would be my tip, and open the pool bar and get bintang!!
Great venue, i would return, as im sure they will lift their game as they start to ramp up more over the coming months.
Thanks Luigi !

We live near Mrs Sippy and after seeing advertising on Facebook that you are offering 50% off on selected items, went on a Saturday and our bill still came to 2 million rp for 2 people and another 3 million rp for other family members. Its not 50% off on everything only selected food and not drinks. Unlike Mexicola which understands that there are only locals no tourists and offer 50% off everything. Our pizza had half the toppings and was all dry, we complained to 2 different staff who did nothing about it, we ended up leaving most of it to be thrown away. If you want the locals to come you cant keep overcharging your crazy prices like you do to the tourists. There was maybe 15 people in the whole venue. If you had staff that listened when we questioned the crazy drink prices on the bill and the terrible food and did anything to make up for it then maybe we would be there more often. Not in a hurry to return. If you want to look after the local loyal customers then fix your prices and promotion and put some staff on that actually care.
