Dined out with mom and daughter. The drive up alone and beautiful views (night) were sooooo worth it. Food for adventurous palates. Very verbose waiter (i just wanted to enjoy the food without dissecting ingredients and technique, but all staff are very knowledgable on the meals offered - attention to detail duly noted). Knocked the ball out the park with... More

The location and views were great, as well as the wine tasting, but unfortunately we were disappointed by the lunch menu. We opted for the 2- and 3-course options. The duck starter was unimpressive, the most enjoyable part of the quail dish were the veggies, the meal was drawn out and by the end, our entire party had lost interest.... More

Went back to Waterkloof to try their new tasting menu and we weren't disappointed. Meal did extremely well to be balanced and full of varying flavor without being too heavy, which is sometimes the case with tasting menus. In addition the kitchen team have added on an array of amuse and pre desserts and petit etc that do well to... More

We had high hopes for the restaurant given the positive feedback from others and the national recognition. For reference, we ordered the tasting menu and I had the wine pairing, while my partner did not. I concur with the previous comments regarding the view, the use of glass in the building really gives one a sense of floating out beyond... More

We were a party of 7 that recently celebrated my birthday at The Restaurant at Waterkloof. We chose the 3 course menu. The portions were small and the food took extremely long to come out of the kitchen. On a value scale, I was disappointed - very artistic food, but expensive for what you're getting. The service was good, however... More

Very nice and stunning view over Gordons Bay. We loved the decor! The food was excellent but the portions a little bit small. Service was good and friendly. We wil definitely go back.

Superb fine dining up withthe worlds best and the home ground wines are equally well crafted. ON a winters day locals enjoyed the roaring fire and fine wines. The finely tuned use of local produce was even more memorable. servers could however watch over filling glasses and drifting way for a chat when we wanted some attention.I dont give one... More

My wife and I had a wonderful three course meal on our anniversary here, the food was artistically presented and tasty. The only thing that was lacking was the service, our waiter hardly knew his wine and the manager on duty was almost unseen and didn't seem to bothered we where there... We where the only table and maybe that's... More
