We booked a table for 8 people and were asked to pay a R100 deposit for each person and not arrive before 8pm. We duly arrived at 8pm to find the large party 20+ had not started their meal resulting in quite a wait for our meal. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful. Most members of our party enjoyed... My husband and I had dinner at Mo & Rose last week whilst staying at another establishment near by. The front of house staff member was very attentive and friendly and he even offered to show us the rooms they had available. We were very pleasantly surprised by the well appointed rooms with fire places and aircon and will definitely... More

Mo and her team served an incredible breakfast and catered to my every need during my very short stay. Their attention to detail and hospitality made me feel like I was the only guest in a room full of other travellers. Thank you Mo!

We had an absolutely amazing dinner at Mo & Rose. Probably the best one we've had in SA so far. The porcini&cheese soufflé was to die for, the slow-cooked lamb was melt-in-your-mouth tender (and served with extra sauce!!!) and the spiced soufflé for dessert was a delicious finish to an outstanding meal. Service is calm and friendly, the restaurant itself... More

We chose the end Garden room which had lots of space. We were only there for one night, and it's a perfect stop over, set in the lovely cactus gardens. The food in the restaurant was good, last visit it was superb so we will definitely be back.

When visiting the Robertson Valley we look no further than this spectacular guest house. Birthdays and anniversaries have been celebrated here over a period of three year and I am sure they will be for many years to come. The staff have become familiar faces and the fact that they remember the smallest of things (like my husbands love of... More

The location is outstanding - and the food is just as memorable. There was a large group celebrating Christmas - but this did not detract from the excellent and professional service we were offered. The food was beautifully prepared and presented and resulted in a very pleasant evening of wining and dining.
