My wife had the mussels and I had the hake with calamari. Generous portions and well prepared. Service was excellent and friendly staff. Will definitely go back.

Visited here with my family , the best steak ever , had with sweet potato chips , beautiful , good prices also . Lovely sitting watching the seals in the Bay following the small fishing boats . Four of us had lunch here. Three were happy with their meals but I was disappointed. The two seafood platters were regarded as excellent and so was the half a pint of prawns. However, my West Coast sole was watery and mushy. I should have anticipated this as East Coast sole is normally a much better bet.

We unfortunately picked 2nd Jan for a family drive to Houtbay.seemed the retauarnt not deal able to deal with full house . Food eventually arrived, and was worth the wait . for a venue based at an active harbour, seafood very expensive . I suggest make a reservation !

We stopped for lunch at Lookout. As there was a waiting list for outdoor seating, we happily sat inside. Out waitress was cheerful and professional. Our meals were delivered at different times and the wait was significant. The quality of the food was very mediocre, neither good nor bad. Front of house is well organized vut it seems the kitchen... The views and atmosphere at this location at night is so to.antic with the lights of the boats reflecting off the water we had a fabulous meal and all the while a live band where playing with a lead guitarist that is worthwhile laying to watch. A must visit location but at this time of the year bookings are essential!!

We decided on a whim to pop in and eat here. While waiting got our food Iblooked through TripAdvisor for reviews- and was quite concerned to see that there were more than a few unfavorable stories about bad customer service. We were a tale of 6 - on a busy night, with a last minute booking and the food and... More

Service was disappointing. Had to ask for ice 4 times and only received after asking for another waiter. Ladies toilets stunk of urine and were extremely untidy. Empty toilet rolls, plastic bags and toilet paper lying on the floors. Food was fine but wouldn't go back.
