I am never disappointed when I visit Fish on the Rocks. I religiously have the Yellow Tail because no one else can cook it better. My mouth is watering at the moment thinking of that soft salty vinegary Slap Chips.... YUM! See you soon.

The fish was very crispy, the calamari average and the fries soggy (most likely due to condensation within the styrofoam pack). We tried both the hake and the yellowtail, but found fish bones without the hake. The place is right at the end of the harbour, which makes for a nice setting.

We went there on a Sunday afternoon and it was so busy but everyone was having a good time and service was so much quicker than we expected. Fish was yummy. Lovely views all around.

......a rather long and very rotund rodent waddled across the floor just a couple of metres from me and that, frankly, was quite enough for both me and my wife to reject the remainder of our Hake, Prawns, Calamari and Chips ! In terms of regulating portion sizes to achieve weight reduction, this experience was even more effective than a... More

I first visited the site when it was the original 'Snoekies', a take-away in a single decker bus, during the 1950's. Whilst it has changed totally over the years, it still retains the essential 'flavour' of the original, being fish and chips (and nowadays prawns and calamari etc) which can be taken away or eaten on site. This is real... More

Fish and chips was very lekker however calamari was chewy. Relaxing atmosphere. Didn't wait to long and the price is reasonable. Will definitely go again.

Wide variety of fresh fried fish, Snoek, Yellowtail, hake or calamari. Best deep fried fish in the Cape Town. A must visit for any fish and chips lover. The prices is also very reasonable and the portions are good.
