Our family had the pleasure of visiting this great restaurant this past weekend (21st November 2020) and we were just settling into the palate cleanser after the opening duck course when one of our party had a sudden medical issue. The on duty manager (Andrew)...was attentive and helpful and above all calm and collected. After calling the ambulance for us, he kept checking in that we were all ok. We unfortunately had to cut our dinner short, however, we will most certainly be getting in touch to visit there again soon as possible to finish what was a brilliant culinary experience.More

We were given the dining experience as a gift from our daughter - the staff are fantastic and very knowledgeable concerning the menu - we had the full menu with wine pairing and loved every minute - a definite must if you are in Franshoek

From the moment you walk into La Petite Colombe you know you are in for something special. The snack box you are presented with are so beautifully put together, and with each bite your soul is touched. When you are taken to the main dinning...area. The simplistic decor makes you feel at home and comfortable. With each course and associated wine pairing, you are taken to an unknown world filled with delicious delight and flavour. The experience of your salmon being cooked in front of you is amazing. There's attention to detail in every aspect of your dinning experience. Thank you to the team for making this an anniversary lunch that we will not forget.More

Had a blast at La Petite Colombe last night. World-class fine dining in a gorgeous setting. From the minimalistic decor to the stunningly extravagant food - it was a dinner we'll not soon forget. We opted for the Chef's experience with the wine flight. I'd...definitely recommend going for the wine pairing as well, as it contains some rare wines and interesting choices. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and the service outstanding.More

The wait is over. Finally LPC has a venue that is worthy of its food. + Bubbly Marion is a shoo-in for hostess and Rylan, the sommelier, knows exactly when you want your glass topped up. The only thing I'm not sure about is charging...for tap water (even if it's filtered). They say you can't bring your own wine but they don't say anything about water ...More

World class fine dining that is exciting and full of surprises. We went all out with the Chef’s Experience plus add-on fois gras (totally worth it!) and wine pairing (also totally worth it for wine lovers). This place is perfect for an unforgettable evening of...luxury. Our waiter was really friendly and helpful and would have been perfect in any other restaurant, but perhaps not quite yet on par with the food (I am absolutely nitpicking now).More

There is a terrace in front and behind the restaurant, can't see why one couldn't sit out there for a drink. There is no wine tasting as a hotel rather than vineyard .

No dress code but smart or smart casual seemed to be the norm. Don't think you would feel comfortable arriving in shorts & flip flops.
