Good steaks, great service despite being full, and the best tempura prawns we've had. The prices are reasonable too. It wasn't our first visit and it definitely won't be our last.

Stayed in Franschhoek in January 2015 for only one night and had a lovely meal here and vowed to return. This time my husband tried the fillet steak which was every bit as good as last time, so tender. I opted for the kudu as I don't expect it would be on the menu outside Africa. I was surprised it... We had dinner here twice on a recent trip & both times the food was exceptional & the service attentive. Loved the typical french bistro atmosphere & the nice warm fire. After dinner we were presented with a lovely plate of yummy Belgian chocolates to celebrate my birthday. I really appreciated this nice touch! On both evenings the managers on... More

Although rated as a good place we were disappointed and found this to be the least successful dinner for 4 in Franschhoeck. Small tables make dining a challenge.

Absolutely French style interior, but the food is a bit more electic. Very good local game and curries. Service was slightly distracted and we waited quite a while for dinner.

Very good ambience and service. There is an explanation of the process the beef goes through before being cooked and for once the steak lived up to it's reputation...it was excellent.

We visited her for dinner on the second evening of our three day stay in Franschhoek. It was an excellent experience. My wife and daughter both had the mussels which they said was the best they had ever had - big and a large portion with very tasty sauce. I had the Kudu which was also a large portion, well... More

Had another lovely meal here last night. This restaurant has a very varied menu so gives choices for all tastes. Mussels are the best around. My husband loves the teriyaki prawns. Always good service and wanting to please the customer. My favorite restaurant in Franschoek.

Nice atmosphere in the restaurant, with fireplaces when I visited on a cold night. It seems to fill up quickly, so either make a reservation, or be there by 18h30. The steak was good (although smallish).

Busy vibrant restaurant with a delightful menu. We eat here twice and very impressed both times. Service was excellent and the food was both interesting and beautifully presented. Highly recommended.
