I think the ownership of Fujian has changed since they first opened. The dishes that they offered were much different then today. The food has become run of the mill suburban take out Chinese-American cooking.
They once offered dishes that were more restaurant caliber and were different from other restaurants. I saw the same things on the menu I see elsewhere. We ordered two combination platters, one Sesame Chicken and one General Tso's Chicken and they looked and tasted the exact same. They were very good and fresh but very standard and tasted like each other with one having sesame seeds on top of it. The fried rice they served was very good though and we had a small order Roast Pork Lo Mein that was delicious. Lots of roast pork in the dish and not overwhelmed with vegetables.
Ask for their fresh hot mustard to add to the food. It will add some zing to it and it is potent. The egg rolls here are very standard. Don't bother ordering them separately.

Being the only Chinese fast food restaurant in the town this is our go to place.Crabby Wontons are our favorite appetizer egg roll and won ton soup is good.for our main meal we had sesame chicken and Shrimp with Lobster sauce. Portions were good as well as the food.

Fujian is not your run of the mill take out place. They have so many unusual dishes on the menu that you would ordinarily see on a better Chinese menu at a sit down restaurant. We had a sautéed chicken and vegetables that was a real standout. If you want traditional Cantonese takeout, this is not the restaurant to go to. That is more Ho Mei and Dumpling House in Hasbrouck Heights. If you want good Shanghai or Hunan type of cooking, it will be a real treat for you to order here. Remember to pick it up so it is nice and hot when you get home.

The young lady that takes your order is very sweet. We do pick up, never ate there. They give you ample amount of soy sauce, duck sauce etc. wait is never more than 10-15 min. I place my order and by the time I get there, it is ready or very soon after I arrive. Menu is very good. A lot to choose from.

I drive by Fujian often on my way home. I wanted to try it out because it'd be nice to find a good place nearby that had both a bit of chinese/japanese food. I ordered a few things on the menu and an order of general tso's chicken. I brought the food home for my family and when I opened up the Tso's chicken I noticed a dark long strand of hair entagled in the broccoli, I was disgusted and to be frank, I threw out the food and never ordered from there again.

Not bad not great...cheap average chinese takeout. The food you can tell is cheaply made more so than other chinese spots. Why is General Tso's chicken red? Should be more of a brown sauce.
