I went to the Doo Wop Drive In for three meals during my short visit to Wildwood last week. Everything was delicious and the place is fun. It is squeaky clean and brand-new. When I say clean I mean the cleanest bathroom you've ever seen...and a neatness factor of 15/10. So easy to relax here because there is plenty of outdoor seating spaced appropriately under a full tent for shade, There was also a nice breeze each time we went. Now on to the most important thing: the FOOD! Doo Wop Drive In has all the favorites with lots of fun choice such as Hawaiian Pancakes (pineapple, Macadamia nuts, and coconut), and Cinnamon Roll Pancakes. Old standbys like omelets are fantastic and filled with quality ingredients. The sandwich wraps are stuffed with tasty fillings (I got a BLT wrap), and the salads are insane. My friend got a spinach strawberry salad brimming with strawberries at their peak served with house-made dressing. Flavor is king here. Prices are reasonable and the servers are sweet and attentive. If you want the real shore experience, this us your place. Saw lots of happy kids and grandparents in large parties too! My only regret is that I didn't get to see the drive in movie part which sounds like a lot of fun.More

Doo Wop Drive in is in a new location just blocks away from their previous one. Great food and friendly staff. Ate there twice in 5 days. Prices are very reasonable too.

We had two wonderful meals here. It was so good the first time we went back for a second visit and will be back again! Great menu, pricing is really good with ample portions! Especially enjoyed the creative pancake and french toast offerings! Great service...too! Wonderful addition to the Crest dining scene. Try it you'll like it!More

My MIL & I recently had lunch at The Doo Wop Drive-In. I've eaten at the old location and this place is 1000% better! I have to say we both thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. Besides being clean & loving the nostalgic décor, the food...was delicious & prepared just right! Our server was pleasant, knowledgeable about the menu, had great suggestions and was very accommodating even though she was busy. We saw their breakfast menu and are really looking forward to having breakfast there in the very near future.More

This season is the first in their new location. The facility is spotless! I cannot emphasise that enough, the staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is great! An expanded menu over last year, using fresh-not frozen meats with ample portions makes this place a...winner!!!! On two nights, the restaurant features an outdoor movie for FREE, and provides free popcorn. The kitchen is open for late night snacks and the decor is in tune with that of a bygone era. The owner will try to stay open on weekends throughout the year but in season is the best time to experience this gem while in Wildwood Crest. There is off street parking plus plenty of free street parking which makes it convenient. I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised and leave with a full belly! Something we all like when on vacation at the shore!More

We stopped at the Doo Wop Drive In for a late lunch, about 1:30 p.m. We are familiar with the other Doo Wop restaurants in the Wildwood area. In the past there have been a couple of restaurants on the site that specialized in Philly...Cheese. Hence, we asked the manager if he has Philly Cheese on the menu. He cautioned us that the restaurant is not a steak house or specialize in Philly Cheese, but Philly Cheese is on the menu. We decided to stay and order the Philly Cheese. Fortunately, the manager was wrong. We ordered one Philly Cheese with cheese wiz and one with provolone. Both Philly Cheeses had mushrooms and onions. Both sandwiches were very good. There was plenty of shaved meat. The Philly Cheeses were a good size. We will return for Philly Cheese in the future. The menu has a list of about a dozen additions that can be added to The Philly Cheese to customize the sandwich. The cost is reasonable about $9 or $10. Doo Wop Drive In opened this year at this location. The restaurant is basically a breakfast and lunch establishment, except for Saturdays, when the restaurant reopens at 6:00 p.m. and closes at 10:00 p.m. All other days the restaurant closes At 2:00 p.m. The menu is large, about three pages of breakfast items and another three pages for lunch. Obviously, there is a large selection of items to satisfy any customer. There is a kid's menu of the usual kid's food. Doo Wop has take out, outdoor dinning, and dinning in options. During the pandemic, I am not to confident about the indoor dinning. The restaurant is on the southwest corner of the intersection of New Jersey Avenue and Sweet Briar Road.More

I had the blueberry pancakes that were kind of dry. My wife had an omelette which she described as sub par. I know the place got accolades in years past but it seems the quality of breakfast now has slipped!More

I don't I'm sorry. Limited on space in kitchen for on the go items. But if you bring me the batter I will whisk them up and cook them for you. Not a problem what so ever.
