This was for New Years-and Capuano had a special menu. It was very reasonably priced. I had a seafood combo that included crabmeat, large shrimp and perfectly cooked scallops on top of capellini. The desert was tiramisu-again a delicious treat. I look forward to returning...to Capuano more frequently.More

We were twenty two for dinner. The service was beyond a ten. We ordered a variety of food, it all was served hot and the quality was a ten. The food was perfect. Steak, fish, pasta, shellfish was wonderful. This is a BYO wine or sprites....Parking no problem. Great for couples or large parties.More

Capuanos is usually a good bet for great food. New years eve is clearly an exception. We were seated quickly with a reservation but waited a long time for service. The hostess was nice but the guy at the hostess stand looked like he was...dressed to go to the movies. Very bad impression!! It wasn't that busy even though it was a holiday. Our order was finally taken but I had to ask for a corkscrew before they finally opened our wine after our somewhat warm soup and very overpriced mozzarella stick appetizer. My girl got vodka rigatoni which is always great here. I got ravioli pavarotti, lobster ravioli with shrimp and crabmeat. For the $36 dollars they charged, they should be ashamed. 3 ravioli, one was empty, and 3 small shrimp. Maybe $7 worth of seafood at best. A normally great place but they bombed bigtime tonight!!!More

Had dinner at Capuano on Saturday 09/07/2019, with group of 14 people. The service was excellent! I had a seafood pasta dish for dinner. It was okay nothing exceptional. The restaurant decor was charming and delightful. Good place for a Italian meal.

Went here to get good food. But when’s I walked in there the service was bad and I could understand and here the people disrespecting my family and me. The pizza was just pizza nothing special about it. I would not go back there they...treated us like a minority and someone who is lower than them. Can name so many more places you can go instead of there like Classico’s Cheaper, Better Service and Nicer Staff. I know you guys always reply like trying to fix it but your workers need to act accordingly you guys need Gordon Ramsay to whip y’all back to shape.More

Our road rally event from our Community led us to our Saturday evening dinner venue which was here in West Windsor. They were able to accommodate 80 of us for a pre set menu. It included pizza appetizer, salad, entree, dessert and beverages including coffee....We were in their private room in the rear. It was too tight for all of us so 12 people ate in the main dining room. We were all served at the same time which was a miraculous feat but we did wait a very long time. I would never hold this against them understanding the circumstances. We were lucky to find a place at all to accommodate us on a Saturday night at a low cost. The choices were chicken parmesan, veal parmesan, chicken francese, or Capri salmon. The meals were delicious and the warmed bread which they brought out at the beginning was crusty and delicious. Service was super. I would definitely go back to eat without the group. The venue is in a plaza with parking. Atmosphere was clean and cozy. A nice decor. Byob.More

There are two doors off the lobby. Staff was near the door on the right and encouraged us to come in on that side. That turned out to be the fancy side with table cloths. We had looked at the menu online and really just...wanted some hot subs or cheesesteaks. The menu we were offered was nothing like the online menu. Different dishes in some cases and no sandwiches. There were lunch specials which were decently priced, so we ordered anyway. Salads arrived with, I guess, the house dressing. It actually was very good. The first bread basket had several slices of cold, dry, mildly stale bread. We asked for a refill and the second basket had fresh, warm bread slices. Our pasta entrees were fine. Even with lunch sized portions, our meal came to nearly $40 with food, tax, and tip. As we left, we tried the door to the left in the lobby. Lo and behold, you enter into a typical NJ red sauce restaurant with the extensive menu you see online. If you want a red sauce place with sandwiches, pizza, slices, salads, etc., make sure you go in the left hand door off the lobby. If you want a more upscale place, go in the right hand side.More

A birthday was the theme for a party held recently in Capuano's. The catering menu had many dining options for all budgets--we chose to have three appetizers served family style (clams, garlic bread and mozzarella sticks). There were 4 entrée choices--a traditional red-sauce Italian entrée,...a fish (Tilapia), a vegetarian and a chicken. No one was disappointed with their food. They do have whole wheat pasta for those who prefer a healthier option. We paid an additional amount for dessert which included homemade tiramisu, cannoli, and ricotta cheese cake. We all could have finished off additional trays of these goodies. The afternoon proceeded at a steady pace--courses were brought out at appropriate times. I was very pleased with Capuanos.More

Six for Sunday night dinner. Service was a ten. For our main dish four of us had fish, very good. Two of us had veal parmigiana with a side of pasta. The veal was over cooked and was a huge disappointment. Did not complain to...manager however we will never return to this restaurant.More
