We dined at Molos for the first time on Aug. 14, celebrating a birthday. We left the restaurant a few hours later very satisfied - here is why: only 2 persons of our party of 5 arrived at first; the staff offered us a nice...table right away without insisting that all guests have to get there first. There was no wait (we arrived at approx. 6.20 pm), though the restaurant was nicely busy already. We received water service right away while still waiting for the others and were also asked if we would like to order some appetizers, or if we prefer to wait. We had a lovely young lady service our table - Raquel - who was a delight from the first moment throughout the end. She was super friendly, had a positive and engaged personality, was on top of our party's needs, gave great dish recommendations and wasn't too 'pushy'. One of us followed a Vegan diet, of which Raquel was extremely considerate, assuring that the kitchen can accommodate pretty much any request and/or modification. She was also happy to take several pictures of our table with our phones. Great Manhattan views; the atmosphere around us was pleasant and the other guests were seated at tables with sufficient distance. All wait staff wore face masks. Each one of us enjoyed their dishes (seafood tower, fried calamari, grilled veggies with Halumi, Lobster pasta). Everyone's main course was served at the same time, and each dish was hot and looked good on the plate. The birthday girl received a nicely decorated dessert plate and a large plate of fresh fruits (as Raquel looked out for the Vegan needs). We will definitely come back - and will ask for a table in Raquel's section...More

The place is located in a very good spot by the Hudson River. And that is all the good I can say about it. It is ridiculous overpriced!. The food ( quantity, quality, presentation) do not justify the expense. Prefixed menu and almost invisible side...dishes. Service is slow and servers seems to be disconected. I saw three table wrong orders, including my own. Long waiting time between courses. It was their "flamenco night". Besides the cliche presentation, the music was too low during the first half and too loud during the second one. At least the hand towels on the restrooms were very good quality. Never again!More

If I could give this place a worse than terrible review, I would! When we first walked up there was a strong fish scent. However, we tried to give the place the benefit of the doubt and decided to try it anyway. We should’ve left...after that red flag! I ordered an $80 bottle of wine; the wine was brought to us so naturally we drank it. However, on the bill I was charged MORE THAN DOUBLE the price of the wine I ordered. When I told the waiter that I was confused he said it was the wine I ordered. It turns out that there was a typo on the menu and the wine I ordered had the same item number as the $235 bottle of wine I was given. When I asked to speak to the manager. He basically said that I had confirmed the wine with the waiter and kept running off. He claimed that he was “just the assistant manager”. Seems like a SCAM to me. Customers shouldn’t have to pay for mistakes of the servers and managers should help the situation. The only good thing about this place was the view! The food was mediocre, the service was trash. The restaurant was no where near being full and yet we waited over an hour for our food. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY at this place. We will not be returning.More

I was HUGELY disappointed on Sunday when I took a guest to Molos. THAT was NOT Greek hospitality nor Greek food. I am still shocked at the very bad service, and even more at the food. The only saving grace was the dessert - the...bougatsa was delicious. The food? I couldn't eat mine and it was incorrect - I asked for fried calamari as a starter and I got half-grilled rubbery calamari instead. I had a guest I needed to focus on and pay attention to the conversation so I didn't complain but I will never go to this restaurant again. Shocked!More

Outstanding food and service. The lamb shank, octopus, salmon and bougasta were worth the visit again. The waiters were very attentive and helpful.

Great selection of food, especially the seafood to be exact. Nice service to go with it as well as a beautiful view.

I haven't been to this location in several years, since the prior incarnation when it was known as Arthur's Landing (which was overpriced and not particularly good). The current restaurant menu is Greek and strong on sea food. We had an inclusive $25 afternoon lunch...menu and enjoyed the food and the service. The restaurant is steps from the ferry to NYC and in what is now an upscale residential portion of condos in Weehawken. I will go again, but for dinner.More

In late October 2019, my wife and a few friends visited Restaurent Molos, which is right down to the Hudson River and which has the most amazing views of New York. It was in the evening, and we had got a table by the window,...so we saw the most amazing view of an illuminated New York skyline. We had chosen salmon (it was even salmon from the Faroe Islands !!) The service was really good, the food really tasty, and the view excellent! Price not at the cheap end for the area, but totally OK compared to the experience. Recommendable.More

This place has a spectacular view of midtown NYC but that’s really it. It even has a nice patio perfect for outdoor summer dining but what good is it if food is so lackluster. I came here several times and finally decided no mas. Not...worth it. Happy hour menu does help the wallet as the regular menu will set you back a lot. It’s not cheap but then I pay these prices in NYC for far better food.More

Have been there a few times for brunch as well as dinner. I prefer dinner time, even better the appetizers. Fish tacos, octopus and tuna tartare were all very tasty. Sitting right on Hudson River while waves crushing almost to the glass was priceless. Suggest...going at happy hour time when parking is no problem and you can choose your seats.More
