This is an excellent little Bistro! The food and atmosphere are excellent. It is casual dining, and they also do take out. Lots of great options including sandwiches, panninis, Pizza, appitizers, soups Etc. Full dinners too. Rustic Italian country fare... Reasonably priced... Staff is very...friendly and helpful. I have had lunch here numerous times, and always enjoyed my meal. On-street parking is available. Highly recommended.More

Have been here several times with friends and the pizza is consistently delish, with good service and pleasant surroundings. Parking is somewhat of an issue. Appetizers have been tasty as well. Bring wine.

Stopped by on a weekday night and it was surprisingly busy. We ordered the Cristalle as an appetizer, a goat cheese and ricotta dumpling with a yellow tomato basil sauce - Delicious. I had the chicken arabiatta, which had a nice spicy sauce but the...chicken was chewy. My husband ordered the snapper special which had a delicious lite tomato and fish sauce with clams, mussels and shrimp. He enjoyed it. Service was great and attentive. Would have given them 5 stars if not for the chicken.More

4 of us went to Salugo last night. It was great. Lindsey, who took care of us was so pleasant and helpful. The wives both ordered salmon over beans with escarole. They both said it was delicious. The salmon perfectly cooked. I had the pork...chop and my friend had the steak. Pork chop came with long hots and thinly sliced potatoe chips. I like it hot and spicy and the heat of the long hours was perfect with my pork chop. Because it was a quiet night they gave us a plate of Tiramisu on the house. It was the best Tiramisu I ever had. It was so fresh and delicious. We will be back at Salugo very soon.More

The vicinity surrounding this restaurant is filled with Italian eateries. All of them have much more extensive offerings, larger portions and are better staffed. We came here as a change of pace from our favorite places and were not impressed. We went on a Friday...night and their staff consisted of 1 waitress, a busboy and the owner. My wife ordered a Chicken Francese, which arrived about 50% smaller than our usual spot at approximately the same price; salmon (wood plank cooked) came very pink on the inside and very small portion wise. Really, I almost needed a microscope to see my entrée. Save your time and money and enjoy one of the better restaurants around this one.More

Always enjoy the visit. Owner is gracious, staff is friendly and it is a comfortable place to relax and have a meal with the family. BYOB, everything is good but the steak salad is my favorite.

We got delivery from Salugo when staying in the area for a night. The pizza was average at best with very few toppings. I asked for a Parmigian Panini. It came in a whole wheat wrap instead and was completely tasteless. The fries were cold....The side salad was a joke. Essentially all arugula with two tiny tomatoes on top. Prices were extortionate for what you got. Incredibly overrated.More

A few months ago we had lunch at the (then new) East Hanover branch and it was pretty good but since it was closed the day my son and husband wanted to go back, we went to the Verona branch. The best thing about the...pizza is some of the combinations- the pizza which wild mushrooms is good as is the one with dried figs, balsamic vinegar and gorgonzola but I don't love the crust, just the toppings. The soup was pretty good and was served with breadsticks made from the same dough as the pizza but for some reason it was better in breadsticks than the pizza. The day we went to Verona though the service wasn't very good. The one waitress was more interested in having several long conversations with the guests at another table than in waiting on us. Salugo Bistro isn't bad but I prefer other restaurants in the area for gourmet pizza.More

Food is always excellent in quality and preparation. The service is just as good as the food. Bobby & Gerry have created a wonderful atmosphere and a place to go when you don't want to spend the time for an "All out" dinner but rather...a place to grab a quick quality meal. A place where you can get in and out without too much fuss and be completely satisfied. Highly recommend it!!!More

A valuable fairly new restaurant in Verona where the food is very good and the service is excellent, most especially Lindsy. WE have eaten there many times now and have had pizza at home and everything has been delicious.
