The food was good as usual except that they always don’t have some of the stuff from the menu. The thing that was disgusting was that a female employee used the bathroom just before me and didn’t bother to correct the fact that there was no toilet paper. The bathroom also was filthy. This makes me wonder how safe it is to eat there.

Probably one of the oldest Turkish Restaurant in Hudson County, NJ. Meat is fresh and be prepared to wait a little, as food is made to order, but worths the wait. The Arabic Salad and Falafeel are good. Also the Shawerna (sandwiches), Kabobs and mixed grill. As a an appetizer go for the Baba Ganoush or Humus with Pita Bread. They also have sweets like Baklava and other Turkish inspired desserts.

Booked a private dinner for 20 people. This is my first experience with the new owners. From beginning to end everything was fantastic and delicious. The food: fresh, great quality, home made, delicious and the presentation of every dish was amazing. The stuffed grape leaves, salad, dips, you name it was wonderful. The lamb melted in your mouth. Don’t forget the Turkish tea and coffee. The service: what more can I say but outstanding! Personal service, attentive, first class and each waiter was delightful and couldn’t do enough for us! The restaurant decor: My party was in the back room. You must see it.. clean, beautiful decor, elegant with lighting that can be controlled to compliment every occasion. The front of the restaurant has a more modern but comfortable feel with indirect lighting. 5 star Turkish restaurant that is a BYOB !

This place used to havevhrrwt and inexpensive Turkish cuisine. This is the second and last time we will be back under the new owners. First time we were surprised by the high prices and small portions. But the worst was that our favorite dishes were lacking flavor. This time the soup and tarator (now called labne) were delicious though quantities were small. But the shepherds salad that used to be our favorite is under dressed bland. We were surprised they called it a large and maybe it wasn't. They took it away and brought back the same size salad. The fresh bread is still great. The fish was good but the chicken kebab was dry and they brought Adam's instead of lamb shish as I ordered. All in all very disappointing. If I want a good Cohan salatasi clearly I will have to learn to make it myself

We went on June 28. It was a group of 14. The food was fantastic. However, the service left a lot to be desired. it should not take three times asking before you get water.

Large, colorful and cozy dining area located on Park Avenue and 41st Street. Friendly service and great tasting food. A little pricey but the portions were good. Servers have a heavy accent, hard to understand them sometimes but they try. BYOB and parking is on street.

Used to go before renovation, made place prettier but plates a lot smaller and quality of food also went way down.. sad 😔 If you want a lunch special they will tell you “you can only eat the lunch special if you stay in the restaurant to eat it” what???!!! Dumb imposition is that??!!! Never heard such thing any where else!!! Don’t even bother coming here, there are other Turkish restaurants near by google it.

Had not been here in 3 years. The place has been remodeled and looks beautiful. Every bite I have had today, salad, bread, lamb, chicken and fish (seabass) has been incredibly delicious.

This used to be my favorite place. Now I went with my entire family and the food is less than half the portion for very high prices and the chicken kabab was raw. Staff are very unfriendly. They stopped making tarama. And soon no more tap water only bottle. They are losing so much business. This place is not good at all. I advice you all to go to bosphorus in nutley. Much better quality food.

Very delicious food, at reasonable prices. Good selection of appetizers, entrees, and desserts. Fast, friendly service. It is not well noticed as it is a small restaurant hidden amidst larger establishments and buildings, across from ACME.
