In my opinion, they have tried to be too big, expanded their menu with Gyro's & pizza etc.and they aren't concentrating on what they do best, hot dogs! The rolls for the hot dogs are often stale. The roll used to be really good several years back, not sure what they did, but it's not the same. not even close.... More

My wife & I lived in the area for over 30 years before moving to Arizona. Peterson's as it was called a long time ago was the place to get a great hot dog, and that's what we looked forward to having on this visit. But I'd have to agree with NewJerseyFred ....... definitely NOT like the good old days.... More

I have been going here for over 40 years. Last time here was about four years ago and except for the atmosphere it was consistently good. Todays visit found the food has taken a huge downturn. Much cheaper hot dog on a way to bready and almost stale roll. Fry's not fully cooked, cool and raw in the inside. The... More

Very good food great and fast service. Hot dogs are so good. Very reasonable prices. Love going there for the hot dogs and chicken teriyaki dinners. Will return often.

Cheeseburger had no taste... Roll that is served with hot dog is not only too bready but stale... At least heat it up! Never again.

It is a classic! The Hot dogs, fries, and Onion rings are still great. I like the things on the original menu. I'm not into the new stuff. Although the chicken fingers and chicken Caesar are very good! The hot and sweet works are the best on the dogs. The hot works are hotter than the original!

Have been eating here for over 20 years, always good and inexpensive. Hot-dogs, burgers, cheesesteaks etc..never tried anything I didn't like. The only thing is the potato salad used to be better , know it tastes "sweet". Service always quick. Miss the outdoor area though that used to face the street but you can still outside in the back.

Most places cannot say they have been there 50+ years, but they can. The menu has greatly expended, but eat outside or in the waitress part, the food is still good. Dogs are great, but get them extra well done.

We live just down the street from this place but only go down 2 or 3 times a summer. The hot dogs are not crisp like they used to be , the rolls are just ok. The outside staff barely talks to you & they don't listen to your request for "a little" mustard. Half the time when we order... More

This place has a decent hot dog, but to me, the burgers and steak sandwiches are better. It's a good, but not great place and it's cheap.
