Kosta's Grill - Exceptional catering

We always enjoy eating at Kostas and ordered from their catering menu for a birthday party. The food was exceptional, and everyone commented on how delicious everything was! The Baked Cod, Spanakopita, Vegetarian Moussaka were especially phenomenal! We appreciated that Gus made a few adjustments to the order for us. He takes a personal interest in his patrons, the staff is friendly and attentive, love the food!

What a great place

Very good food, plentiful and fresh. The inside area was bright and airy. The waitress was very helpful with suggestions, and the prices were reasonable for the portion size. The pastitsio was creamy and prepared in its own pot. The owner came out to greet us and chat. It is in a strip mall, but don't let that bother you.

Authentic, Delicious!

If you're looking for authentic, delicious Greek food, this is THE place! Stuffed Grape Leaves, Spanakopita both good app choices, and Grilled Octopus is a standout. Dinner choices are varied with nice size portions: Lamb kabobs delicious, Lamb Chops, Pork Tenderloin also great, and Gyro is on point and always a go-to. Staff is friendly and attentive, manager so nice! The desserts are fabulous and the Greek coffee a wonderful end to the meal.

VERY DISAPPOINTED.

We ordered Solvlaki Chicken very dry & tasteless .Thassos Cod fish was mostly oil soaked batter .Tzatziki was Thick paste couldn’t taste any cucumber or garlic . Salad was nice . Very Disappointing Lunch ! Dinner might be better experience. Good Luck .

AUTHENTIC & DEEELICIOUS GREEK!!

My dad and I visited for what will be the first of many grrr8 meals! The bussers and our server were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We even met the owner who described how dishes are made to order, along with details about dessert and specialty ice-creams in delightful flavors. We enjoyed fresh fried calamari, baked Oysters Onassis and the best moussaka!! We were so HaPpY we saved room for dessert and can’t wait to go back and try the gyros!

Don't let the strip mall location fool you - darn good cooking!

We have been looking for a good Greek restaurant for awhile, just couldn't find any in the Atlantic City area with our favorite entrees. Turns out we needed to drive a little farther but Kostas was well worth it. Creamy bechamel sauce is my favorite part of moussaka and pastitsio - if you're like me this place is for you. Yum - darn good cooking! Bring your own bottle of Greek wine if you like. I think you'll be surprised and delighted by the dessert selection. Employees and other patrons were friendly and kind, all in all this is certainly a "hidden gem".

Great food, poor service

This was the fourth or fifth time our group of 7 have eaten here. For the first time they refused to give us separate checks. We were rushed into making menu selections. It took a long time to close out our dining. That said the food was delicious.

Uniquely addictive fried chickpea seasoning which was also on the fries. The gyro was amazing and bread definitely homemade. Thank you!

Been coming here since they opened. The food is always fresh and flavorful. The owner is very meticulous about everything and will come around to each table and check to see if everything was satisfactory.

Excellent Food !!!

Was there over the weekend with my family, I have to say, the food was delicious and plentiful, from the appetizers, our dinners down to our desserts, everything was fresh & tasty, we were all very impressed! The staff was polite, very accommodating and on their toes making sure customers were taken care of, you will be impressed with this little family restaurant. Many items to choose from their menu, can't wait to go back!

Try the grilled octopus!!

We have been to this restaurant 3xs in the last two weeks! It's that good!! The first time we had Kosta's eggplant which had grilled eggplant, tomato sauce and feta cheese. Delicious! My husband had the pastitsio kinda like a lasagna but only better. It has just a hint of cinnamon. I had a large Greek salad. The dressing is so delicious and the feta cheese tasted so good! We had the walnut cake with honey syrup and a scoop of olive oil/sea salt ice cream! The conversation throughout the meal basically went like this...Mmmmm... this is so good!...Mmmmm this is so good....repeat. We had takeout one time. We got a gyro and a grilled vegetable pita. Both are served with a generous portion of tzatziki. The 3rd time we got Kosta's bake again. I got the grilled octopus! WOW! It was the first time I ever tried it. To me it tasted like a hearty scallop. DELICIOUS! Served with pesto, seasoned chic peas and sliced tomato. Squeeze some lemon on it. Take a chance and try it! We also got the gyro platter, enough for two people! Dessert was the walnut cake again. We had the same conversation as last time! Service was excellent every time. When we got there we were only one's there. The restaurant quickly filled up and food was continuously coming out of the kitchen. Not their first rodeo!! The restaurant is bright and very clean. Bathrooms too! Can't wait to go back again! I will be dreaming about that cake/ice cream!
