2 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Just came back from Serenity Cafe, it reminds me of those Pop up restaurants in NYC that build on the temperate of the chef of the day. It must have been a bad night for the wait staff because I had to wait for a table with tablecloth (never happened), bread with was quartered sliced pita, and time to make... More

Heard about this place a couple of years ago and kept forgetting to try it. Big mistake, it is fantastic! We went on my wife's birthday and both the food and service could not have been better. I had a veal cutlet dish over wonderful gnocchi with a tomato cream sauce. Veal was tender and delicious and the sauce and... More

Had the Osso Buco, fall of the bone tender, served on a bed of mushroom risotto. One of my new favorites, and its a BYOB.

Before going there for the first time - a while ago - I must have passed this place - trying to find it - 5 or 6 times. Once I finally found it, we've returned often ... With or without friends ... On a regular basis - the food is great, the chef is extremely creative, and the variety and... More

Serenity is located about 2 miles from Seaside Bridge on Rt. 37 and a bit hidden in a strip mall on the left going toward Seaside, but really worth looking for, in fact, busy, so make reservations during summer season. Food is excellent, my son had boneless ribs that he raved about and I had wild salmon. It's a BYOB... More

We started dinner with panzanella salads and the tomatoes were some of the best I've had. My wife had a fig and Gorgonzola cheese tart and it was the perfect combination of flavors. I had had shrimp with pasta for my main course and it was good but not as good as the pork chop my brother had or the... More

You will never have a bad meal here. Chef is super creative and menu changes often. Fresh, fresh fresh is what you'll always get here, one because that's just how he does it and has for years and second is because chef just loves what he does and it shows in his food, and the servers have been with him... Our family had made reservations here to celebrate Mom's 90th birthday party. You must have a least 35 people for this on a Saturday afternoon. It is usually only open for dinner starting at 5PM. It was the perfect size for 35 people. The luncheon food was excellent. Cost about $20.00 per person. Not your usual lukewarm pasta dishes. We... More

Our dinners were delicious: our table chose duck and pork as entrées, both were very good. The lemon cake pudding I had for dessert was excellent. The service was very good and the ambiance was pleasant. The menu is a grammatical nightmare, and I'm not talking about a misplaced apostrophe. The description of the cod entrée is almost unintelligible. It's... More

Menu changes every few weeks and there are a nice variety of items to choose which are all prepared in the most interesting ways. Atmosphere is pleasant and staff are all friendly and professional. Must make a reservation days in advance for weekends during the summer. Highly recommend.
