I have been here with my wife for a romantic dinner and this is one of her favorite restaurants! She says that the Salmon here is the best that she has ever eaten! It almost impossible to believe I forgot to finish this review . Hard to believe some of the wonderful dishes are dairy free. And the Steak was also excellent!

Wow, we came to ETC as it was a convenient location for our family to meet, some of us from Westchester, some from NYC and some from NJ. We were blown away by the quality of the food, the creativity of the cuisine, the warmth...of the staff and the experience on the whole. It was a wonderful dinner, not something you expect from a kosher steakhouse. The food was delicious and excellent. It was a menu that was well thought out and well executed. It wasn't just steaks and chicken, but a whole menu inspired by creativity. We really enjoyed and look forward to heading back.More

High end kosher steakhouse. Low key, elegant atmosphere. Not noisy or overcrowded. Small menu, but varied choices. Expensive, but food and service were good.

It was a night out with the girls to celebrate our friends birthday. It was a very long time since my last visit and I was looking forward to another experience. This place did not disappoint. The staff was extremely attentive and very knowledgeable. The...buffalo cauliflower appetizer was outstanding. Super flavor. We also enjoyed a few steak dishes for our main. They were perfectly cooked and plated well. This is a BYOB restaurant and staff was helpful with serving and chilling of the two bottles. Desserts were very good. Loved the doughnuts!!!! Wonderful place for a quiet dinner with food that is done exactly right. And the service! So gracious, quick, and accommodating. Pricey, yes, but a five stars.

Our go-to place in northern NJ for special occasions. The menu varies and is always fresh, delicious and creatively served. We were told the menu was recently changed to Asian influenced. I thought the tastes offered were a little repetitive and prefer a more eclectic...selection but next time we dine there will probably be a different twist, that’s part of the experience. Service is friendly and very professional. Our waitress remembers us. Steak entrees are a specialty but everything on the menu will be gourmet quality. The appetizers are often intriguingly unusual and sometimes I order two appetizers instead of a main; soups are usually great. Desserts are often the ‘deconstructed’ kind such as the s’mores they offered this week - each element is served separately on the plate - which I don’t think adds anything to the item except the price. Speaking of price, expect to lay out plenty for the evening. Wine is BYO so at least that isn’t an added expense. Personally, I would prefer more food on the plate and less emphasis on presentation and emulsion foams and other high end gourmet gimmicks. For instance, I ordered the appetizer special which turned out to be a 2x2 piece of lamb (a quarter of which was fat) accompanied by a tiny sprig of an Asian green vegetable and some fancy taste treat lightly painted on the plate between them. Was shocked to see a $30 charge for it on my bill. Will remember to ask the price of the specials next time before ordering. Nitpicking aside, all in all we enjoyed a lovely meal was had by all and we will be back.More

Having grown up in Brooklyn, NY I was accustomed to eating at some pretty well-established steakhouses. I always was looking for the perfect dining place that was intimate where the presentation and flavors were on point. Enter Seth Warshaw and the staff at Etc. From...the first moment you walk through this establishment, you are greeted, seated, and treated (see what I did there) to a dining experience that is unlike I have ever seen. From the first to the last course, the flavors were out of this world. They pay attention to detail, and while they have some of their "classics" on the menu, they do tend to switch up their menu and provide what to me is a culinary experience you do NOT want to miss! This is my wife and I "go to" place for our anniversary almost every year. DEFINITELY check this place out. You will not be disappointed!More

first time i got to Teaneck, had dinner with business colleagues at this Kosher place. good salads and soups to start with, excellent steaks especially considering it's Kosher and reasonable priced wine. the service was great, and the staff was also helpful in helping me...get transportation back to NYC. definitely recommended.More
