good food, pricey, not too noisy, selections limited compared with previously like valletta better but this isn't bad

Everything was underwhelming. They were out of at least half of the items on the menu and we were the only table in the restaurant. What was available was disappointing when served. Maybe this place is better in season but I would recommend avoiding it in the off season.

One of my favorite places to eat. Lots of great items on the menu and the gorgonzola sald is fabulous. They are always prompt, seating us at the time of the reservation!!!

We had a 715 reservation and our meal came at 915. We were all served at different times and even sent mussels back that were under cooked and the chicken parm had no cheese! Basically after asking for the manager several times he came with the check unapologetically and said "don't come back"

We just left this restaurant. With a 7:15 reservation our meal came to the table more than 90 minutes later. The service was terrible and our waitress admitted that they were understaffed. People who arrived a hour after we did ate before we did. The manager/supervisor made no apology and actually was argumentative. This restaurant is owned by the same... More

The prices on the menu even for LBI are overpriced. I had shrimp scampi over spinach. $32.00 for three shrimp. Not Jumbo shrimp either. The cesaer salad was tastless and the clams casino came to the table burned..

We had an early reservation so we were the first to arrive. A woman, I believe to be the hostess or manager, greeted us and was very polite. She brought us to our table and sent our waiter over. However, we did not see much of our waiter and it was the hostess/manager whom we dealt with mostly. We ordered... More

We were just there tonight … we went with another couple who owned an Italian restaurant for 35+ years. We hoped Cafe Aletta would be up to their standards and it delivered big time. Our food was awesome…. all agreed. From the beet salad, stuffed clams as appetizers to the cod over escarole/beens. All was just perfect. Service was outstanding... More

Went out Tuesday night with a total of 6 people. Two adults and 4 young adults. We ordered the antipasto for 2 and the calamari. The antipasto was good. Tasty and a decent mix of salad, cheese and meat. Not special, but not bad. The calamari was bland, no seasoning whatsoever. As for the entrees, they were fairly decent taste... More

We went to Café Aletta - a BYOB - for dinner around 6PM Saturday evening. The staff was welcoming and efficient, and the room is nicely decorated and comfortable (except for the A/C draft). My husband and I enjoyed our entrees - Cod with escarole and beans and Veal Sorrentino. Both entrees had interesting flavors and were presented well, but... More
