Can't speak for the food - as we just stopped for a drink. The inside bar was jam packed… but if you get a seat at the bar, you have a great view of the bay. We found a couple of seats outside. Deck area is small… wish there was more space. Nice place to watch the sunset. You can... More

Just stopped in for a few beers on a hot summer day. A nice waterfront venue, with a good bartending staff. I'd go back. Parking is difficult in season. Place closes on Columbus Day for winter.

Been going here for years. Before they installed air conditioning. It was good back then. Past few years it's been going downhill. Out of wings on a Thursday night, not good. Ordered the $15 Cuban sandwich, and I didn't finish it. It was not what a Cuban sandwich should be this mess was inedible. Our server was very nice and... More

Walked into Twisties and felt like it was 1982. Bruce Springsteen on the juke box, old decor, and tables and chairs that don't match. Felt like I walked into a hall in an old church. Some people may like that aura, but the place was dirty (the bar had a day's worth of filth on it), the bartender was gruff,... More

Drove up in the boat and had a great lunch on the water. Service was slow but I think our waitress was busy. The burgers were delicious! The fish tacos were good but could use some more meat in them. Great beer selection too!

Great sunset view from outside while waiting. Inside has a quaint old seashore feel to it. Food was good, good drinks. Servers were attentive. Wish they had outside seating for dinner. Available for lunch I believe.

The food here is always pretty good. My family and I make the trip to Twisties every year when we're in OCNJ. The menu selection is not huge but everyone in your family should find something they can enjoy. Get there early during the summer as wait times can be fairly long. But you can always enjoy a drink in... More

This small family run restaurant and bar is directly on the bay and accessible by car or boat. They have a small patio outside with a great view of the bay and Intercoastal. The inside has a bar and seating. It is definitely a local place and off the beaten path. The food was good and very reasonable. We never... More

This is a neat little place on the Bay side that's away from all the other "Beach" places. The food is great. Service was good. A busy place for locals. May have to wait for a seat. A little loud. Only parking is in the local neighborhood. Great for families too!
