We sat at the beautiful bar on a Friday afternoon and had a couple of drinks, mussels for our appetizer then we shared a bar pie. Everything was great as was the atmosphere in a historic 18th century building. And for a bonus it's supposed...to be haunted. Perfect for an October afternoon.More

During COVID-19 our server wore her mask below her nose at all times. First visit in several years. Fried green tomato app was literally four silver dollar sized thin sliced pieces for $12 ! And lost on a full size dinner plate. Spinach dip with..."pretzel" was oddly flavored, maybe goat cheese ? And the pretzel was a phallic disaster, basically reshaped over baked bread. Remarkably unattractive. Did we just choose the wrong items ?More

Mussels in garlic wine that are always fantastic what their delicious bread to dunk. Crab cakes over risotto, they give you two...really good size crab cakes and the risotto was perfect.More

Enjoyed a delicious meal in large outdoor setting in the rear of this stylish mansion. Tables were well spaced and food was creative, plentiful and delicious. Friendly, efficient server. Would recommend the apple guacamole with plaintain chips, and the crab cakes over risotto. Great martini...menu too!More

Was staying int hear and the proprietor recommended the short walk to this restaurant. It was a weekday in the winter and not very crowded; but there was live entertainment in the bar and very attentive staff in the restaurant (entertainment did not disrupt the...restaurant area). We started with some very interesting guacamole that had a touch of fruit mixed in but the surprise was the sliced lengthwise and baked banana "chips" that went with it. Went together well! The cocktail and wine served was very generous. I very much enjoyed the eggplant rollatini for my entree but had to pass on one of the scrumptious sounding deserts as well as the proffered, free after dinner libation (nice touch!). Will definitely return whenever in the area.More

This is a go to place for me and my friends. Food and service are always consistently good and the drink menu is fabulous. The place itself is adorable and the outdoor patio is fabulous! Beautiful gardens and bar and sometimes even live music. I...feel fortunate to have Bells near where I live, I always look forward to my time there!More

Excellent food, service, decor and pricing. No gratuity added as in prior posts, The waitress (lula?) was excellent, the Beef Wellington was perfect. We met the owner (Maria) - a gracious hostess. We found ourselves a new site for special occasions, or for that matter,...anytime we want a real quality experience.More

I met a co-worker at Bell's Mansion for dinner. We sat outside on the patio. It was so nice to look at the gardens when while we were eating. The waitress was very efficient and took our drink order right away. She also brought us...delicious crusty bread and dipping oil. She took our orders and got our appetizers out right away. We both ordered Chicken Joshua, a pan fried, panko crusted, chicken breast topped with fresh mozzarella and a garlicy bruschetta. It was the crispiest chicken I have had in a long time. It came with a nice field green salad with a light dressing. All in all a lovely evening with great food.More

Nothing bad. Nothing great. My daughter got filet and it was tough. Nicely cooked but tough. Mashed potatoes seemed average. Spinach with the steak... Average. Got the beet and goat cheese salad, again fresh but average. Dressing was as if it was out of a...bottle. Even though waitress said it was homemade. Pumpkin soup, okay. The flourless chocolate cake, okay. Creme Brûlée, okay. Wait staff was cordial. Meal took a LONG time.More

Sorry, I really don't know. Most places do, but this place is so popular they may not. We were there after normal happy-hour hours. It is still worth a visit even without happy hour.
