We had the absolute pleasure of staying in the yurt at The Bridge Inn and it was absolutely amazing! The yurt itself is beautiful, spacious and has everything you would need for a lovely weekend away. The yurt has been amazingly decorated and even has a small fridge with fresh milk and mineral water for drinks! Not only was the... More

The Children were visiting The Greenman Music Festival and we came back to The Bridge Inn for dinner because we remembered it from last year! It was as good as we remembered. Great food, pretty rural setting and lovely helpful bar staff. Plenty of parking is a bonus on busy evenings. The food is great and has an interesting mix... More

Stayed at the Bridge B&B as a base for a short cycling break around this fabulous area. Cycling over the Gospel Pass to Hay-On-Wye is a real treat - even in less than perfect weather conditions. The post ride sustenance on offer at the Bridge totally hit the spot. The Escleyside Pie, washed down by Butty Bach beer, would surely... More

The tiny village of Michaelchurch Escley hides in the last valley in England before you hit the Welsh mountains that rear up dramatically above this secret land. It's spectacular scenery. The Bridge sits in an idyllic corner by the stream where there is a sunny terrace to enjoy your drink on hot days. We did just this at the end... More

This hidden gem is the perfect relaxing getaway. With the river right in view and the sun shining on visit, we thought it couldn't get much better, but it did. The food was beautiful with a unique touch. Sunday dinner very slightly pricey but completely worth it if you like various tastes and textures. I wouldn't suggest it is for... More

We stayed two nights at the Inn's accommodation at Bridge Farm. What a lovely place with great rooms, only a minute away from the inn. The food was of very good quality, locally sourced wherever possible. The hosts, Glynn and Gisela, and their staff were a delight. Sitting around the breakfast table, chatting to Glynn as he cooked our breakfasts... More

I love this place, not just for the wonderful and picturesque location, also because is one of the few pub left which is NOT in a chain, so has got personality, individuality and hard working people running it. As always we received a very warm welcome in a busy night, wonderful food, value for money, lovely atmosphere, we were chatting... More
