Absolutely loved the place, genuine and authentic American breakfast the way it is supposed to be. Service was also excellent. Make sure you don't get there starving, since it's popular and almost always a wait.

Nice place to enjoy a seafood dinner. There is seating on the inside and outside on the dock. If you travel by boat their are slips where you can tie up. There is ample parking if drive. The seafood was local and fresh, server friendly and attentive. There where five of us, each choosing a different seafood dinner, all were... More

On the terrace, overlooking the marina on the bay, just west of Ocean City, is a great place to dine. I love the view nd the food at Doc's. We had the clams and penne and scallops and penne. I liked my scallops and my friend enjoyed his clams - a draw. The show stopper was the crab cake in... More

My husband and I went there on a whim over July 4th weekend…pleasantly surprised that they accepted reservations and the food was pretty good. I got the blackened woo woo fish and my husband got the chicken parm. I really liked mine, but he didn't really like his very much, but I loved the inside ambiance…I would go again and... More

Our favorite seafood restaurant near by has fallen on hard times, so we went across the bridge to Somers Point. We ended up by chance here which had been deeply disappointing last year. This time it was very good. One had mussels with basil and garlic ; one had shrimp and sea scallops; I had grouper. All was good. Now... More

For the area, this is not a cheap eatery, however, it is consistantly high quality and has fun marina dining. It's not a big place so I would call ahead. Lunch specials are terrific and less crowded. It's the place I recommend when out of town guests ask for suggestions.

Just before Christmas with pretty decorations, dim lighting, and a guitar player singing made for a great night. But got even better with a prix fixed menu of delicious choices. They make a very good cosmopolitan. Really great place for a date.

Description
Owned and operated by the Hieb family since 1987, The Doc’s Place offers inside and, seasonally permitted, alfresco dining in a luxury yacht basin - Harbour Cove Marina. We are open 11 months of the year (closed in January) and serve a traditional breakfast on Sundays and lunch and dinner daily (see www.thedocsplace.com for seasonal hours). Luncheons include jumbo lump crab meat Caesar salad – delicious; cheese steaks and Kobi burgers – the best around. Dinners embrace fresh fish; steaks and chops (our beef is competitive with any ‘steak’ house), shell fish - shrimp, clams and mussels; and accompaniments such as pomme de terre frits, cooked-to-order pasta and seasonal vegetables from New Jersey & the world! Our bar introduced this area to 7½ ounce martinis and Manhattans, poured to a meniscus! Our wine list is an oenophile’s delight. Our limited seating Thanksgiving Day dinner is legendary. Our private parties are spectacular. Try us, again!
