Today was a perfect fall day to go to smithville nj. Walk around, eat fudge and have a great dinner. Everyone is nice and I love the homemade soap & candle shops.

After attending a wedding in July at the Historic Smithville Inn, we were excited to return while vacationing at the Jersey Shore. This time our experience was terrible. The service was slow and sporadic; our beverages came in 3 stages, one person received their drink, then two of us and then after a VERY long wait, the last person in... More

I had the pleasure of having lunch here today as part of a day trip. What a perfect restaurant to have picked to eat at. Before our trip today I had to contact Smithville Inn to ask them to accommodate two people in our group. Our choices for lunch were chicken or shrimp scampi which this couple do not eat.... More

While the restaurant was very crowded at noon for its Sunday brunch, the room layout kept the traffic flowing. Features include made-to-order omelets, salads, hot chafing dishes (love the fork-tender London broil and not-overcooked salmon in tomatoes), lox and smoked whitefish and fixings. Would have appreciated the bagels to be sliced to make it easier to spread the cream cheese,... More

You can't beat the Smithville Inn for great food and drinks in a warm and cozy atmosphere. Friday nights the $20 Lobster dinner in the summer and then $20 Prime Rib dinners after summer is over is really hard to beat! You must also try the wasabi tuna steak...always cooked to perfection and it's a large steak! I highly recommend... More

Looking for a good deal, you have to check out Smithville Inn on Friday night. Lobster dinner in the summer or prime rib in the winter for $20.00. Best deal in town.

My husband and I enjoyed tasty sandwiches in this historic inn. I ordered the vegetable sandwich. My husband ordered the rib sandwich. Both were ample as were the sweet potato and potato fries. We started with soups. The corn chowder is very thick! The cup serving size was plenty for me. My husband had the tortilla soup. The waiter was... More

Visited the town of Smithville and made dinner reservations . The reservation was right on time after having a cocktail at the bar. Bartenders were both friendly . Our dinner was served in a very professional manner which is expected in a fine dining restaurant. Our appetizers as well as our dinner was excellent. I recommend the Inn for any... More

Just good all around. Go early for a walk around the town. Prices more than fair. Best French Onion soup I have ever had.

Description
Old world charm meets new world hospitality in this lovely lakeside landmark. A longtime locals favorite serving award winning classic continental cuisine with a modern flair. The restaurant, resurrected from an uncertain future in 1997 by the combined efforts of the Coppola & Bushar families, has since reclaimed its spot among the favorite dining locations in the Atlantic City area.
