Went with another couple on a very cold January evening. The fireplaces were warm and delightful. The Inn is still decorated for the holidays and is gorgeous. The $20 Prime Rib special was awesome. Everybody enjoyed their dinners with doggie bags all around. Laura our server was very warm ,friendly and attentive. Can't wait to go back soon.

My husband and I had the opportunity to dine here last night. Our waitress was sweet and kind. They have a wonderful wine list but you have to ask them to view it. We had the special blackened tuna bites they were excellent. I had a spaghetti squash entree with scallops and shrimp which was devine. They seemed knowledgeable and... More

The inn is historic as it was a stagecoach stop between New York and the Atlantic coast of New Jersey. The general décor is rustic and for the Christmas season, the inn is decorated in an attractive manner that makes it very inviting for a holiday get together. The menu is very good -- nice selections and variety. All of... More

The restaurant was festively decorated for Christmas. The warm fire in the fireplace In the lobby is a great intro to the restaurant itself. The inn is old with lovely wooden floors and rich atmosphere. There are tables that overlook the lake. The dining room was full of lovely decorations. We weren't very hungry since we had a later in... More

We had a wonderful lunch over looking the lake. The pot pie was outstanding and a home run plus the service was second to none. Also loved the colonial feel of the place. They also provided us discount coupons and information on the shops near by. We got some wonderful gifts for our family and met some nice folks along... More

I will soon be age 70. I first visited Smithville Inn in 1962 when my aunt & uncle took me there along with my cousin (same age, now deceased). I've been there many times since over the years but not recently. Obviously the place has changed as it's gone through various owners. I was pleased to find the attractiveness and... More

Sitting here waiting 4.5 hrs for a table tonight. First trip here. I hope the food makes up for the ridiculous amount of time we r waiting. Go to check on our reservation and they just told me we were never put in. SMH.

Old world charm meets new world hospitality in this lovely lakeside landmark. A longtime locals favorite serving award winning classic continental cuisine with a modern flair. The restaurant, resurrected from an uncertain future in 1997 by the combined efforts of the Coppola & Bushar families, has since reclaimed its spot among the favorite dining locations in the Atlantic City area.
