About
Old world charm meets new world hospitality in this lovely lakeside landmark. A longtime locals favorite serving award winning classic continental cuisine with a modern flair. Went here for my birthday in April, so decided to take Hubby here for his birthday last week. This restaurant is always a sure bet for good food, good service, and a cozy atmosphere. When you can get a window seat, you look out on...More

The Smithville Inn has deceptively really good food. Usually, at restaurants surrounded by a multitude of little trendy stores, visitors frolic to buy little trinkets that symbolize their visit to the shore and the many little cafes and eateries are fair at best. However, this...More

This was my first time at this restaurant, and although it wasn’t perfect I’m sure I’ll go there again. I had gotten fried tomatoes to share as an appetizer, which were too heavily breaded. The crab cakes were delicious, as were the French fries and...More

Outstanding in all categories—greeting, service, ambiance, food, value, low noise level! Perused the lunch special menu, but decided to get their Caesar salad (large enough to split for an appetizer) as a main with salmon. The salmon was brought and served by Laura piping hot...More

The restaurant was excellent, with a terrific specials menu. Ambiance was perfect, with piano player and excellent wait staff. House salad was just a house salad but the special romaine salad with avocado was great! The chocolate bomb and carrot cake desserts are well worth...More

They usually have a wonderful Thanksgiving buffet but no reservations for parties less than 10. If you get there before noon, you may have no wait and may be seated in the buffet room.
