It was our first time in Sea Isle, Mike's was recommended by a friend. Couldn't go wrong. My husband and I split the Fried Seafood platter, it was enough for both of us. We also got the mussels. All the fish was fresh. If we...are back in Sea Isle I would definitely go back.More

Food is as great as it always is, but the daily specials have disappeared. Considering flooding and covid, not holding that against them.

We love everything we ever try here but the fried seafood combo is a feast. We always get the steamed clams and mussels and their sauce is untouchable. Tried some place else and was greatly disappointed. Won’t make that mistake again.

The food portions are huge! Always love the Crabby Talapia, but they did not have it this year. I think they simplified their menu for covid. Get there early because there is always a line and they don't take reservations. No fancy utensils or plates...either, so if you don't like the look of take-out containers, this is not the place for you.More

Hubby & I love Mike's Seafood! We've been here several times. The last time we ate here was a little over a week ago. We had been away overnight for the first time in over 20 years (we have a special needs adult daughter), and...we love going down the shore. However, it was rainy, windy & chilly because of the tropical storm. Which means instead of sitting on the beach, we eat and shop. haha! Event though the weather wasn't great, Mike's has clear isinglass windows, so we still sat by the water. They also let us in an hour early because they were ready, which really blessed us. This was part of our 30th wedding anniversary celebration (which was actually in April, but everything was closed down then). We had the place to ourselves for that first hour! As always, the food is fresh and delicious. We look forward to coming back again and again!More

went to Mike' with my family tonight after a rainy Sunday. We were a party of 6, and were seated within 10 minutes. Four of us had the Owen special which included lots of crabs and corn on the cob. It was great. We also...had the shrimp from hell which was spicy but enjoyed by all. We were a little disappointed that the seafood pasta specials were not on the menu this year. Also due to covid the great coleslaw was also removed from the menu. A great shout out to Maureen who made sure everyone had a great meal. See you next summer!!!!More

It's been a few years since my daughter and I have been to Mike's Seafood in Sea Isle, so since we were spending the afternoon in nearby Avalon, we decided to make a stop at Mike's for a outdoor, sit down dinner. We waited about...20 minutes for a table, but the line moved fast which was very helpful for a family with a younger child. When we got to our table, we took a glance at the menu and decided to order a regular side of Old Bay fries with cheese on the side and the Fresh Steamed Combo with two bottled sodas. After we ordered our meal at the register, we grabbed our sodas from the Cooler, only to find out that they were room temperature. We were given cups of ice, but when we poured our sodas in, the soda instantly became diluted from the melted ice. We had some delicious bread that was brought to our table while we were ordering our meal that was fresh and soft. When our meal came out, the fries were luke warm, soggy and covered in entirely too much Old Bay. I'm a huge fan of Old Bay and I put it on my meals at least 2-3 times per week, but the soggy fries just became oil logged Old Bay bombs. The side of cheese was a cold, gelatinous prepackaged cup of cheese that just made the side of fries worse. Fortunately, the fresh and hot steamed combo redeemed this trip to Mike's which already had three strikes with the warm sodas and disastrous appetizer. The steamed combo featured Large Gulf Shrimp, Nantucket Sea Scallops, Jersey Flounder and Lobster Tail with Baby Red Potatoes Steamed in their House White Sauce. Wow!!!! Not only was the platter huge and more than enough to feed two hungry people, the fish and shellfish were fresh and perfectly cooked with the delicious red bliss potatoes and We got through about half of our dinner when my daughter needed to use the restroom. We stopped one of the servers to let her know we'd be returning to our table from the restroom in a couple of minutes and DO NOT clear our table. We walk back our from the restroom and our appetizer, meal and drinks have been cleared from the table with just one of our two plates left on the picnic table. When I stopped another server to let her know what had happened, she sent over another server who apologized for our table being cleared and offered to have a fresh steamed combo platter brought to our table. About 10 minutes later, the second steamed combo platter was brought out to our table with an extra side of lemons and more bread. When we reheated the platter the next day, all of the seafood stayed moist, juicy and super flavorful, just as tasty as it was when our first platter came out of Mike Seafood's Kitchen. While it appeared that our dinner at Mike's Seafood was on a downwards trajectory, the delicious seafood and excellent recovery by the staff put this meal in the win column.More

Let me start off by saying that my husband and I have very different tastes and are both picky so it’s hard to find a place we both love-WE LOVED THIS PLACE! This epitomizes what a Jersey Shore Seafood Restaurant should be like. The atmosphere...is down to earth, casual dock dining that is relaxing and comfortable. The outside seating works out great with the current Covid-19 restrictions so they are operating within the restrictions without difficulty. You order your food at the counter and are then seated at one of the picnic tables on the dock where the staff will bring it out to you. To go is available but the dock provides an amazing backdrop to the meal that is worth eating there for. We chose one of the couples meals and we were extremely satisfied with the quantity and the quality of the seafood. The food is served in aluminum pans and there is a roll of paper towels on the table which further adds to the charm of this establishment. Everything was cooked just right and was in a delicious butter sauce that we couldn’t get enough of. I was actually dipping my bread in it at one point during the meal. We were both full and still had a good amount of leftovers to take home for a snack later. The staff was also excellent and made sure we had what we needed throughout our meal. The servers frequently rounded to make sure that all of the guests were ok and were all pleasant and conversational. Considering it was Father’s Day and they were busy I was surprised by the amount of attention we received from the staff. They did a great job! The food is a little pricey but seafood is always expensive and the Jersey Shore is also always expensive so that is to be expected. I have spent more on meals at Red Lobster and Joes Crab Shack that we’re no where near as good as the meal we had here so it’s absolutely worth the money! It is an absolute must if your down at the shore!More
