Step back to a 1955 cash only diner. Now you get the picture. They serve hot freshly cooked to order breakfast and lunch. Pork roll is a jersey shore favorite. Hard rolls. Another jersey shore favorite. French toast is beautiful. Great pancakes. Everything is good and plenty of staff buzzing around to keep you happy. Love this place.

We stopped here on our way out of town for a quick lunch. The cafe is like an old style lunch counter complete with stools. The food was lunch counter food (we had a cheesesteak and a BLT) and the portions were average. Our food was accompanied by chips, a small macaroni salad, and a pickle spear. Fries were $2.50... Really enjoyed the food here. Can eat outside too when the weather permits, and also is open for dinner. Had the pan seared tuna wrap which was unique and very good.

We walk from our home to Ray's in Sea Girt for breakfast from time-to-time and have never been disappointed there. Good food, a relaxed atmosphere, and friendly staff.

Great local restaurant for casual family breakfast. Delicious food, fast service. A popular choice for summer family and friend visits.

Most overrated "cafe" I have been to. Tried it twice and the food was average to poor. More importantly, the one thing I would expect a place like this to get right is the coffee. But, the coffee was abysmal both times...sour, stale and unsatisfying. There are much better breakfast places close by. Ray's needs to up its game significantly... More

Service was very slow. I went back to Spring Lake a year later and would not go this restaurant because of the poor service.

In town in little Sea Girt this is the only breakfast show in town The food is pedestrian the atmosphere dated and the prices high for what you get. Staff is nice but there is a pervasive odor of frying oil in the place. It is not uncommon for locals to chat from counter to table so it can be... More

If you haven't been to Ray's restaurant, you must go. Try the short stack or the traditional ham and eggs. Yum. What a treat. Open all year round.
