We have been going here during the summer months for years, used to love it years ago, but it seems to be going downhill and then we were there a few days ago and my burger experience was truly horrible! I ordered a well done burger and when our meals arrived, I picked it up to bite into it and... More

This is my go to place when vacationing in Spring Lake. Always a great meal and a very diverse menu...something for everyone! I hit them up for 3 take out dinners to take home after a 2 hour ride back after my week of vacation. They were more than accommodating! Their Rueben is to die for!

Last night we went to Rod's as a family for dinner. My husband and I have visited Rod's several times in the past (both together and separately) and thought it would be a great place for an impromptu dinner thanks to our prior experiences there. Oh boy were we wrong. The fried calamari appetizer was disappointing. Despite the fresh calamari,... More

Rod's is a great place to watch your favorite sports team in their bar area. Enjoy a drink, have food, watch the game and meet friends. Or choose to eat in the dining room. The menu is extensive with lots of daily specials. There is some thing to please everyone from hamburgers, turkey dinners, steak dinners, chili, fried onions, french... More

Should have walked out as soon as I sat down and cut my leg on a piece of metal from the booth and the waitstaff (whom got cut on the same piece the week before) was not too helpful in getting me a bandaid. That was for starters. The bartender was rude. Another waitress we asked for help, she just... More

We haven't been here for quite a while & were pleasantly surprised that the food & service were back up where they once were! They make an excellent & massive Cobb salad that's enough for 2 hungry eaters as well as lots of wallet friendly specials off the chalkboard. Excellent shrimp cocktail & fish specials. Full bar service & very... More

We did an early walk-in at this Jersey Shore spot. Years ago this was a fine dining restaurant. So, we were disappointed. Prices were reasonable and service was fast, maybe too fast. My wife got the "fresh flounder francaise" which was mushy. My Reuben sandwich tasted like cardboard.

Was craving a nice big juicy prime rib and Rod's is the place to go. Sat in a booth at the bar, had a couple of icy cold brews, watched the games on the tv, and enjoyed every bite of that prime rib.
