The usual write-up describes the Inn as a gastropub. Yes, the bar selections are great. But, to characterize it as just a pub with burgers fails to adequately describe the excellence of the menu selections. We have tried several appetizers, the fish pie, the Shepherds pie, the pork chop and the fish and chips. All were top drawer. Given the... More

We have been there several times and really like the burgers which are out of the ordinary in that the flavoring is excellent as well as the beef. My wife liked the hanger steak/salad platter. Our friends enjoyed the fish and chips plate as well as the standard pub burger. They have a very nice beer menu as well as... More

We are completely unfamiliar with the Princeton area, but we were out there with our kids (16 and 11) to pick up my husband's new car at Princeton Audi at dinnertime earlier this week. It was dinnertime and we were too far from home, so my husband picked a place that my kids were not happy about. My 11 year... More

We had dinner here and tried the burgers, pulled pork, deviled eggs and mini tacos. Everything is good and servers are friendly and attentive. Has a ramp for wheel chair and a bar to grab a drink with friends. It's very casual and is fine for kids. Nothing fancy just casual dress and good food.

I recently had dinner here and was a bit disappointed in the choice of selections on the menu. I decided on fish and chips but didn't think they were especially tasty. They did not cone with any sides and I think the prices are too high for the quality of food, presentation and ambiance. Workmen were present repairing the side... More

Actually, the calamari appetizer was even better than ok. It was good - with an interesting presentation of batter-fried peppers and greens. Spicy. But the hamburger - well, it was just so-so. I got the pub burger that had an onion ring on top - tough - had to cut it with a knife, heavy cheese and just well, ok.... More

The menu was wonderful -- everything sounded wonderful, and the food we ordered was delicious. This is a terrific gastro-pub housed in an old inn. We can vouch for Brussels sprouts, steak, macaroni and cheese with pulled pork. All top-notch. There were so many other things on the menu we wanted to order -- the burgers looked terrific, there was... More

The Rocky Hill Inn is a fun spot with great food. You can sit in the dining room for a refined meal, or you can stick to their terrific bar food. We've done both, and have celebrated more than a few birthdays there with a lovely meal. The real reason we go back though, is the RHI burger. If you... More

We came here on a Saturday night at peak dinner hour with no reservation. The hostess greeted us warmly, said it might be a few minutes and offered us to grab a drink at the bar or take a look at the menu. While we waited several other customers with reservations came in and were seated promptly, so definitely make... More
